I love going to Opera. We went here for a 2025 performance of Rameau’s Les Indes Gallentes. Utterly superb ! I will definitely be back next year-and probably have dinner in the main house as it looks really lovely. There is a mini bus from the local train station-which is an easy ride from London. Really lovely and well organised-and the performance was superb too

We have been friends of Grange Festival Opera for many years as it a wonderful setting with unhindered views of the countryside as result of its isolated location. The auditorium in what was Orangery is intimate and the seats comfortable with adequate air conditioning. We have been disappointed the last few years with a very light programme and not focussed on opera. However this year they have upped their game with an outstanding programme and both Der Fliedermaus and La Traviata performed to a full house. The latter was outstanding in every sense and would have received accolades in any major opera house - well done But there is one gripe and that is the long and shorter gravel roads which create plumes of dust as the images of my car show Maybe a complimentary drive thru carwash at exit point will be cheaper than tarmac the roads !!! I have posted images of the vehicle

Lovely area for a walk and picnic . The car park is free of chargers close to the building . The building itself is closed on a normal day only open for special occasions or events .

We attended a performance on one of the wettest days of the summer so the experience was a little different to the norm. But everyone crammed into the house finding space to picnic created a nice atmosphere. The slightly worn Greek revival mansion is a great backdrop for an opera festival and interesting to explore. Performances were as strong as always and the intimate opera house is a fine space.

One of the principle Greek Revival buildings of the early 19th century in part fantastically preserved as a ruin and in part as an opera house. Opera at the highest level with superb artistic direction and of great inspiration.

Saw very little of the festival as I was only a chauffeur but having listened to my clients they were enraptured by the performance so believe it was very good, being an opera buff I'll have to get tickets for next year !

Wonderful night out The setting is amazing and the performance was superb. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food and service were outstanding. We will go back again next year.

Beautiful location and theatre. This production of Monteverdi's Il ritorno di Ulisse in patria is light, witty and clever with a great cast. Outstanding performance by Anna Bonitatibus in Penelope.
