We are so grateful to have found The Barn Nursery—such a beautiful and nurturing place. My daughter absolutely adored every day she spent there and already misses it so much! A huge thank-you to all the staff for the love, care, and attention you gave her—you truly provided the best start. We can’t wait for our second little one to join the Barn family!
I highly recommend The Barn to anyone. The staff are amazing, treat all of the children with great care and attention and really set them up to be ready for school. My son really came out of his shell and grew hugely in confidence during his time at the barn, I’m so glad I took him out of a typical nursery setting to go here instead.
Most amazing, supportive staff. My little one has come on leaps and bounds since attending the barn nursery. Couldn’t be happier and couldn’t recommend this nursery enough! Our son loved The Barn Nursery and so did we. It’s such an amazing place where the highly qualified teachers know exactly what they’re doing. They care about every single child from the bottom of their heart. I would never choose any different place and I’m so glad we found this little gem in a tiny village with a very short drive from Basingstoke. Thank you Barn, we will never forget how special you were to our son.
The Barn nursery is a great environment for children to grow and be ready for school. Both our children have attended the Barn and we couldn’t be more happier. All the staff are amazing at finding a balance between understanding rules, learning about the world and having fun, whilst at the same time understanding that every child is different and having a personal touch with each and every one of them. It feels a real community nursery, parents getting involved with the staff to help make the children ready for school. Our children and I have fond memories of the Barn and they talk about revisiting it all the time. Highly recommended. Can’t thank the staff enough for all they have done.
The Barn? It was love from the first sight! I walked into this place and I knew it was the nursery me and my husband wanted to send our daughters. You just get this good and positive energy as soon as you walk in and to top it off the staff is amazing too! It was wonderful seeing our daughters so happy there. The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in a very individualised way. The management is really committed to providing a safe, fun, and loving environment and we’re very thankful to Rebecca and Sharon and the whole team at The Barn. We cannot speak highly enough of The Barn and all the staff. Both of our children attended and thrived in its warm, fun and supportive environment. They could not have been better prepared for school!
A lovely nursery with fantastic, attentive and caring teachers. My children were so happy here. The nursery offers so much in terms of toys to play with, inside and out, and a range of interesting activities throughout the day. The highlights have been afternoons in the woodland area, watching ducklings hatch, playing in the pretend bird hide, singing (I loved hearing all the new songs they came home with), maypole dancing and releasing butterflies outside. My children have left feeling confident and ready for big school. I could not have wished for a better start to their school life.
Where do I start….firstly, from the get go, The Barn Nursery have been incredible, they make learning fun and are such a huge support in all aspects of the children’s care. They have been so welcoming and have supported the children through uncertain times (like Covid and the lockdowns). My son has absolutely blossomed since being at the barn and it is all down to the highest standards of care and teaching from all members of staff at The Barn. For me personally, I knew this was the right setting for my son, with a lot of out door activities and learning and lots of adventures, I knew he would settle right in, and he did just that. I couldn’t recommend them enough, 100% have a visit and you’ll fall in love with it just like we did.
Both my children have had a wonderful time at The Barn and really thrived there. All of the staff are gentle, caring, and nurturing. The Barn provides the ideal environment for children to grow and gently prepare for starting school. Both my children settled in with no problems at all and would always look forward to their Barn days, often counting down the weekend until they could next go! They formed great relationships with the staff and made lots of friends there plus many special memories and lots of wonderful artwork which now covers our walls! Thank you to all the staff who have made this time so special for them and given them the absolute best care, particularly in the difficult times of the last 18 months.
