My first adventure with Path Hill and I absolutely loved it! It was great having everything organised for me. Alice and Molly were fabulous guides. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the surroundings and were enthusiastic and fun!! I will be definitely looking out for more adventures!
My husband and I attended the Hammock & Fire event and had a fantastic experience. The staff were friendly, approachable, fun and knowledgeable. The woodlands at Path Hill are incredibly beautiful, a perfect location to feel at one with nature. The food we cooked (and the staff added to) created a wonderful feast. We discussed with them making a more natural eating area from the local trees rather than indoor table and chairs taken outside so this would be great to see in the future. The traditional salmon preparation was a great new skill to learn as well as the fire making techniques. I had never slept in a hammock before so being under the stars on a beautiful Spring evening was rather magical. Thank you for having us, we will be back again.
We did an overnight experience with path hill adventures and we had such a good time. The entire experience was run extremely professionally and we learnt loads off Alice and Dom who were our mentors for the evening. Within minutes of arriving, they had the entire group chatting as if we had known each other for years which made the whole experience so much more enjoyable and relaxed. We took part in putting up a hammock which we later slept in under the stars, preparing a salmon for the fire, building a fire from scratch, a beautifully prepared meal, storytelling around the fire, forest meditating and a massive cooked breakfast to finish things off in the morning. I would highly recommend this to anyone.
Introduction to bushcraft was amazing! Perfect day in the woods learning lots and chatting away with incredible instructors. You don't need any experience and you will come away with so much. I'd love to go back!
I attended the women’s bushcraft day and can’t recommend it highly enough! The facilitators were incredibly knowledgeable and approachable, and the resources and setting were excellent. It was a chance to learn so many interesting and useful skills in a really beautiful and supportive environment. The whole day really brought me back to myself, re-igniting joys and passions from childhood and I really felt like I had expanded myself somehow by the end of the day. I’ll definitely be returning!
Fantastic centre, superb staff. Just picked up one very happy and muddy 9 year old!
