Another excellent short stay. Rooms compact but comfortable & well equipped. All staff are helpful & friendly. Dining room is spacious & breakfasts offer a wide menu choice. Quality of food is excellent.

Stayed here for World Yoga Festival 2024. The main hotel and grounds are beautiful. HOWEVER the room was in a modern annexe. Small, no air conditioning, or fridge. We paid £810 for a 4 night b&b package as there was no option to stay for 1.2 or 3 nights. This was during a heatwave and although the hotel proved a small fan it was inadequate. We expected luxury accommodation, or at least the basics of aircon and a fridge for what we paid. Cobwebs in the bathroom too. FEELING RIPPED OFF!

Stayed at HLB for a work off-site which included breakfast, lunch, a formal dinner and one nights stay in the accommodation. Overall very good experience in really beautiful surroundings. The food was plentiful and varied, and the accommodation was as you would expect for a 4 star hotel. I’d definitely recommend this venue for hosting work events.

Beautiful function and wedding venue with views of the Thames River. The venue also has hotel style accommodation that would be able to cater to larger groups of guests that would need to stay over. If you travel by train, you have to get a taxi to the venue as the road is not safe to walk on at places - narrow roads and cars passing by.

Stayed here for 1 night. A great place next to the river, an excellent bar, restaurant and breakfast overlooking the River. Room modern, nice and sparkling clean. One should note, Saturday night, restaurant opens at 7pm and a la carte menu opens at 8pm.

Stayed for 1 night when on a training day on location. Lovely modern room, spacious shower and comfortable bed. Generally clean but some areas could have been better (corners of bathroom, tiles round the sink and mirror). Nice to have a Nespresso in room. Lovely grounds that I had a jog round in the morning. Good breakfast with lots of choice though waited a while to be seated despite several team members looking at me. One way systems and plenty of hand sanitising stations which are practicable for feeling relatively safe in a high traffic environment.

Fantastic stay. Room was a lovely size and spotlessly clean. Bed extremely comfortable. Food was delicious. They promote local produce so there was plenty to choose from in the bar with local gins and beers as well as the brands you would expect. We were wonderfully attended to by Toto and Piotr who couldn’t do enough to make us welcome. Breakfast was delicious. Delicious bacon and sausage. Again lovely service. The grounds are beautiful to walk around with the Thames at the bottom of the park. Could spend hours just watching the boats go by. Great base for visiting Marlow and Henley where the shops and cafes were second to none. All in all a really relaxing stay. Can’t wait to go back!

We got married on 31st may this year at old luxters barn and used the business school the night before to stay and get ready on the morning of the wedding. I cannot recommend this place enough! The booking was made easy and we were given 2 big bridal suite rooms to use which were ideal when getting ready with there being a big group of us! The staff were incredibly helpful and professional and could not do enough for us! The beds are super comfy and rooms were immaculate meaning I had a great nights sleep before the big day! Breakfast started early And was lovely! A lot of our guests used the business school to stay on the night of the wedding and all said how great it was. I would definitely use this place again!
