Felt as being cheated after their travel money xchange services. Xchange rate posted on their website is no match to their actual in Lymington sales office.Always check before you agree to do the xchange. Or avoid, if you can. 20%% difference is too much!!!
Hays Travel in Lymington used to be the best place in the town for currency exchange, but unfortunately their protocol has changed now, putting a stop to this. Whereas if you were changing a four figure sterling sum they would sort you out the best exchange rate they are no longer prepared to do that. If you have been quoted a rate by somewhere else they wish to know where you obtained the quote and how much it is! Then they will try and "match it" whilst stating that they can't do any better than matching. The Post Office exchange rate is not great and Hay's is usually below that. However they used to come slightly higher on a little negotiation when exchanging a four figure sum (even a little difference can buy a few extra beers on holiday). But they are no longer prepared to do this. Therefore they are no longer the best place in town to exchange money. I usually called in around 4 times a year but I'll stick to the Post Office and elsewhere from now on. Hay's have lost the crown!
It's been years since I booked a holiday through a travel agent, but I had tried and failed to book my cruise on the internet, so I thought it was time to go old school. I'm glad I did. The member of staff was knowledgeable and patience. Plus it made the booking of a holiday feel just a little bit special.
Disgusting customer service. more than happy to make pensioners fight for a refund even though they cancelled the trip!! avoid at all cost.

Pleasant atmosphere. Never over full. On this occasion my wife's crushed avocado meal was so spicy she couldn't eat it. We'll still return but we won't eat that meal again.
