What a fantastic day out on the water. Tom was a great captain! We were a group of 6 with 4 having never fished before. We had a great time and caught a few fish, a first for some of us. Can't wait to go again.

Fantastic days out, with a professional and super friendly crew. Great catches (Tom, that chunky bass was such a treat, I dont know how to thank you!), stunning views. The crew - Tom and Paul, are very helpful with all the matters - from tackling the uanvoidable tangles, to giving some valuable advice and guidance to the beginners. You can learn a lot from them, if you want to. Plus top specs boat that easily cruises at 35+ knots. Thank you Alan, Paul, and Tom!

I have been fishing from charter boats for 35+ years, and have learned that there can be no guarantee that you will catch fish, all you can do is give yourself the best chance you can by stacking as much as you can in your favour. This starts with the boat, the crew and if you need it the hire tackle. Katfish Charters with their boat Manta Ray, scores very highly on all counts. The boat is well appointed, spacious, comfortable and very fast when sea conditions allow meaning less time travelling and more time fishing. The skipper, Tom, and crew, his dad, are both very enthusiastic and knowledgable and try their best to find fish for you. Their hire tackle is very good, a lot better than some I’ve seen, and they will spend time showing you how to use it. If you’re new to charter boat fishing, or like me, have been doing it for years you won’t regret booking Manta Ray with Katfish Charters. Tight Lines.

Just got back from another day of fishing on Manta Ray and another great trip despite the fish not playing ball. The skipper and crew did everything possible to make the day a success and the care and patience the showed to everyone regardless of experience was brilliant. In my experienceou won't find better charter boat on the South Coast. Nice to see new anglers getting so much care and attention.

Feel like we got messed around with the price and only when I asked about rods and reels was I told there was an extra fee. Then was told bait was extra as well so supplied own bait. The day out was really poor fishing and barely caught anything. The boat is really nice and skipper was friendly and the best part was seeing 3 pods of dolphins. Would I go back on this boat?? No , to expensive and don’t seem to catch anything ( I have been on the boat 3 times now and no one has really caught anything decent While I have been on bored)
