receptionist was so rude and sounded absolutely bored and interrupted me as i was explaining my symptoms. these people need to be trained better there’s no reason to talk to patients like that

I had a very disappointing experience at this GP practice. My wife and I came to collect a prescription that was supposed to be ready, but it wasn’t. Unfortunately, the receptionist we spoke to was extremely rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. She raised her voice and showed no empathy or apology, even though it was the practice’s mistake.

My dad has a high blood pressure for 3 weeks above 180 and at one point even up to 191. I called 3 times in 3 weeks, the first 2 weeks the doctors gave 2 types of medicines but both have side effect of difficult breathing and fast heart beat. The third week I called again saying the night before my dad’s blood pressure is still at 184 and need to try another type of medicine. This time the doctor who called back said that 184 is not high and refuse to give my dad any medicine.

While looking through most of these reviews relating to this practice , for me it’s very sad that once a great practice has turned very unprofessional. Realistically this could change if the practice actually took on board their patients concerns . I have been a patient with this practice as has my whole family as early as when I was a baby . My mum would always say how wonderful the doctors and staff was. It saddens me to see high level doctors such as dr Wilson , Linda McKee amongst others which names escape me who have sadly retired, they were quality doctors and never left a stone unturned . The only reason I remain with this practice is because of Dr Vass. She has your interests at heart and not once has she left me disappointed . I think if you look at other reviews you will see this is the case with most long serving patients . I will give a shout out to the locums as I’ve met some extremely helpful and knowledgable locums and physios I’ve had to see . Unfortunately I’ve been left extremely disappointed with the lack of empathy and humiliation while feeling being rushed out of the room by a few doctors which I don’t care to mention . This is not only my thoughts but my poor mum who has never a bad word to say about anyone but sadly now has Altzeimers feels these doctors don’t care. She’s old , she’s a bother , she’s imagining things… my mum is still a human being , the only doctor who actually cares in this practice is Dr Vass . The only reason I’m still there . I may have to wait awhile to get her but she’s like gold dust and it’s worth it . The reviews on the reception staff is mostly true. But it’s rather sad they’ve made receptionists into these people who are allowed to ask your personal business and made diagnosis when they feel like it .. this should never happen . They should not make you feel small and as if your a nuisance but sadly this is the case . As I said this practice sadly has gone downhill drastically . We need some of these doctors who are just hanging on for retirement who don’t give a monkeys to leave and look at doctors who show compassion and have the good qualifications to help their patients and not ask their receptionists to do their jobs

I left this place for another surgery, best move i ever made. Could never get an appointment no matter what the problem was, receptionists thinking they were doctors. Got a friend who still goes there (well tries to), keeps getting told that there's no appointment's and needs to send in a photo of the condition to see if the will decide to see them or not. THIS IS WRONG.

Absolutely disgraceful surgery. Rude Receptionists who think they’re Doctors and Doctors who would be better off being Receptionists.

Worst GP practise in Aberdeen. From the receptionists gossiping about patients, to useless GPs. These people should be ashamed of themselves.

I’ve always had issues with my previous GP in London so I was anxious of joining a new one.. I’ve been to the practice twice now and not once have I had to wait past my appointment time. Staff are lovely and the GP waiting area is always so fresh and smells lovely! Definitely the best GP experience I have had by far!!
