If a doctor prescribes an emergency prescription, the pharmacist should prioritize its dispensing. An emergency prescription is defined as one where the prescriber (doctor, nurse, etc.) has indicated the medicine is required urgently and without delay. Pharmacists have a duty of care to dispense it as soon as possible. The prescription should be prioritized over routine ones. BUT NOT ACCORDING TO TESCO WINNAL PHARMACY WHO WHEN EXPLAINED OF THESE CIRCUMSTANCES RESPONDED BY SAYING "YOU WILL HAVE TO WAIT 25 MINUTES AS THERE ARE OTHERS BEING PROCESSED FIRST!

The pharmacy staff work hard, on their feet all day, helping unwell customers with health queries, must be accurate time after time, they're very good at Tesco Easton Lane.

Would refuse to serve me my heart medication because they closed 15 minutes ago (4pm) even though google opening hours says till 6 on bank holidays. All staff were standing there so they could have just given me my tablets. This is unacceptable and an absolute joke. Now on the phone to 111 wasting their precious time getting an emergency prescription so my health isn’t affected by the staff’s incompetency.

Not only do the prices remain the same here, but also the staff are warm, friendly and efficient. I had the personal misfortune of leaving my card in the card reader earlier today and luckily it was handed it into Customer Services immediately. Huge thanks to the wonderful staff and also to the lovely customers who shop there and whom possibly handed it in. For me personally Tesco is now a much better place in which to shop. Thank you to all!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Woman in 50s with puffy brown hair and clear glasses is horrible. Insanely rude and should not be working in customer service! Secretly charged me extra for a extra large pack of paracetamol when I never asked for it and hid it in bag. When asked to remove it she said 'well it's too late now'. Horrible woman and very condescending.

Love this pharmacy. I receive a text when my prescription is ready within a day of my GP visit. I’ve never had to wait. Exceptionally pleasant staff.

I wanted a pack of paracetamol and they’d run out. Told me to go to main shop! Well I didn’t bother as it was quicker to stop at the local shop rather than wait in their queue at the tills!

I was not overly happy about the service today 06/12/2020 at roughly 13:00. I required a pack of painkillers over the pharmacy counter and I was polite...please/thank you etc...and the lady that served me may have been having a bad day (personally) I dont know...but she wasn't particularly pleasant...threw my pills down on the counter...very attitudey and no thank you etc. I appreciate with Covid-19 and Christmas approaching not everyone can be 100% happy all the time, but if I'm polite I do expect the same in return.
