I came to the pharmacy on Wednesday 22nd October having booked a covid jab following a prompt on my NHS app. I am fairly severely asthmatic and have had several hospital admissions as a result of illness with viruses such as flu or covid. I am also a carer for my disabled brother who is immune suppressed. The day I came in I was turned away by a male pharmacist who was rude and very cutting as he told me I did not qualify for the vaccine and refused to give it to me. The following day, my husband came in for his flu and covid vaccines and was given both, no questions asked. He is significantly less asthmatic than I am and also cares for my brother. I am really angry about the way I was treated and also confused as to why your system appears to be totally inconsistent. I still have not had my jab and as a teacher and carer find this incredibly distressing. I have tried to email the pharmacy but the email address available online does not work.

My sister went to this pharmacy to get help for a deep cough she's had for over 2 weeks, the pharmacist wouldn't let her finish a sentence, and gave her tablets for metabolism, not even cough medicine. Extremely rude, presumptuous, and unhelpful.

Undergone some management change. Shelves are full again and New front assistance has made a difference. Helpful and friendly.

Had to come here from miles away as no local pharmacy had the medication. This pharmacy could only partially fill the prescription so they offered to order it in, we agreed and asked them to post it to us, unfortunately they refused as we were from "out of area" so we had to drive 2 hours back the next day to collect. Aside from this the staff were pleasent and the small shop is clean and tidy.

The pharmacy is very busy and I have no doubt have to, at times, deal with people who are frustrated or perhaps not very polite. To deal with everybody as if that is going to be their default though, even when individuals are polite & patient is simply rudeness. The lady behind the counter clearly has her 'regulars' who she is politeness itself to - but has an unfortunate manner of speaking to everyone else as if they are something unpleasant on her shoe and a nuisance. I witnessed her do it with several people today - of all ages, all of whom were polite to her. I will be using another pharmacy in future - they get plenty of custom by being colocated with the surgery but don't frankly deserve the business.

Absolutely superb staff and level of service. Just been in today and had great kindness and care shown towards me. I am very impressed.

Despite the fact the staff work under such pressure in a tiny workspace they always show kindness and courtesy. The pharmacists, Monica in particular, have given me expert advice when I have needed it, which has always been an encouragement when I am unwell. When a medication is unavailable they have gone out of their way to get it for me. Thank you!

2 stars for location. 9 times out of ten staff are rude. Lucky if they have your prescription in stock. Save yourself the hassle and go to boots!

They literally never pick up the phone. So I have to physically go there to ask if it’s ready, which it rarely is. Not picking up the phone is wasting my time and their time and as I assume it’s the same for other customers too just causing them more headaches when they have to come and check if their prescription is ready. They’ve blamed a system crash before, as they wouldn’t be able to see the status of prescriptions, so they don’t pick up the phone. If that is the case, then get a phone with an answering machine and put a message saying that on it, or use a virtual phone number service and do it that way, it’s really not hard to keep customers informed and stop them leaving reviews like this.

Disorganized chaos, twice now they have not had my repeat prescription. Today was a one hour wait outside so they could deal with the four people ahead of me, there were at least eight people waiting behind me. Left empty handed. The icing on the cake was one women pushing in to buy products off the shelves and then asking loads of questions, a total s*** show. Not going back, plenty more stress free environments to pick up a prescription.
