Engage is a positive tool. Best way to get through to the practice for my parents. See so much negative comments on here, just wanted to say that I think the staff at the Practice do such a great job and don't get the credit they deserve. Yes its difficult to get through on the phones, this is why Engage works so well for us. Usually get a response the same day. Would encourage others to use it, even if your not tech savvy!

My last repeat prescription came with a note telling me i HAD to sign up online to be able to order in future. Didnt pay it much heed, go to the website today and they are really forcing the whole online down your throat. Catch is it can take up to 10 days to register. Dyce has a large proportion of elderly folk who likely dont have access to be able to do this. The number is there but its clear from the tone ‘make sure you say its urgent’ they are toeing the line here on discrimination. Cant get appointments, god forbid you ask for a face to face appointment and reception staff arent particularly friendly

I never thought I would ever manage to find a GP practice that would listen to me, and treat me with dignity and respect and check in on how things were going after starting treatments, refer quickly, treat diligently, appointments readily, and basically bring me back from what has seemed like a 14yr death sentence of maltreatment from many different doctor practices.. but so far the practice has done more for me than I've received in over 20yrs, and I hope my trust in them continues. I'm extremely grateful.

The total lack of medical care by this lot is scandalous. I’ve never encountered malpractice like this in any other medical setting. No doctor will ever speak to a patient, far less actually treat them. I’m not sure there are actual GPs in the practice as only a couple of nurses are ever visible.

Autistic granddaughter waited 45 minutes for her appointment this made her have a panic attack. Daughter asked to see manager. Very rude arrogant lady accused daughter of shouting which she didn't. Outcome is they didn't do anything to help granddaughter to calm down. It's a terrible practice . Not like the old Gilbert road practice.

Critical Care? Good Luck I called Dyce Doctors today due to ongoing worsening symptoms I have been suffering from since late last week. I politely explained my issue and the reception member who took my first call said I sounded terrible, and sounded like i needed help, however when I asked for the duty doctor to me back today to see if they could review my symptoms. The receptionist advised me that wouldn't be possible as there critical care team diary was now full. I was then advised to call 111 at 1430 in the afternoon (when 111 doesn't open until 18:00) If I didn't want to do that i had to call back the next day at 0830 to play the appointment lottery again, where I may or may not be selected to have an appointment via telephone call as they may have overfill from today! 111 where called and explained in full detail the process and to call the doctor back and tell them the duty of care stopped with them, and in their opinion needed seen today by my doctor, but to reiterate the doctor should be making a call available. A second call was then placed with the Dyce doctors (which took 10 mins to be answered) and I was informed again they where "fully booked" and they didn't have a duty of care if they had no appointments then hung up abruptly. I totally appreciate doctors are busy and maybe my needs are not as severe as those already who where lucky to get a lottery call back. Disgraceful practice.

After months of trying to get an appointment. I tryed today econsult has been taken offline, when I call I get the automated message then it cuts me off. I had a heart attack last year that would have been avoidable if the doctors investigated it further I believe they are not even close to fulfilling the legal obligations of a GP when I have no way to contact them.

My experience with this practice is good. Only once did they respond to me impatiently, that was the receptionist on the phone and yes that shouldn't happen. I spoke to two receptionists in person and they were very nice. Same with a doctor that phoned me once, very nice and upbeat. I use eConsult now and it's the best thing they could do. I feel like I can actually finally sort my health out without hassle!

Wow. Just wow. If I could give minus stars I would. Called for an emergency app for my mother who was extremely ill/confused and unable to be left alone. Was met with a huffy receptionist then an extremely obtuse Dr who was argumentative and rude with me for absolutely no reason. I've never spoken to a Dr surgery as unprofessional and lacking in any kind of care in my life. I'm taking her to hospital then she'll be changing GP's asap. I feel bad for their patients, honestly.
