First time visit to Vision Express due to daughter and granddaughter expressing great reviews. Was treated with courtesy and professionalism. Cannot praise Lavinia enough for help at the end of my visit, in helping me in my final choice of suitable eyewear. Five star service all round. Thank you.
I needed an emergency appointment and my opticians could not give me one on the day. Vision Express came to my rescue. I received excellent service. Staff very helpful and well mannered.
Very good Staff who were helpful and polite throughout. Very thorough with my eye test and my choice of new glasses. They took the time to explain the process and Finacial costs. Would recommend.
I used to go here before, and it was a good experience and now I’ve come back, it’s been a horrible experience for me, even though I was shocked. I wanted to book an eye test because of poor vision and also because of my health problems. I mentioned eye pressure check, I am not optician , that's why I mentioned just my thoughts and asked for an appointment and that is why I went to Vision Express, the staff member replied I need to get a GP referral letter for that because I had already checked my eyes this year. I replied I can pay, it's not a problem, but the staff member kept raising her voice tone, and actually didn't want to listen to me at all, absolutely wasn't welcomed. And the tone in which she spoke, I felt totally unwelcome, definitely won't return, I felt unheard, but I felt totally discriminated against. The staff member's refusal and tone were inappropriate, especially since I asked for help absolutely didn't have feeling she wanted to help. I think this place needs to be sure who is working in their company. I booked an appointment at a different optician for a second opinion in the meantime, and I had an amazing welcome, and yes, I have problems with my vision, and no one asked for a GP referral letter. When I phoned the GP to ask for a referral letter, they were surprised and suggested doing an eye test in the hospital. I remember even when I went to the pharmacy, they suggested to pop in to any optician to make appointment, but it looks like we can't. 7/11/2025
Hello, today I went to pick up my glasses from repair. What was my surprise when a lady named Forty brought me repaired glasses, of course, but with completely different ear holders Mrs. Dorota also reminded me that when I come for the second time, I have to come with an interpreter, where she spoke my language. After a small conversation that it cannot be that the two temples are different, they stayed to each other I do not recommend the services in this store, I will not do more glasses here
When I had my eye test the first person I saw was lovely and seemed to be competent. She was positive and encouraging. The second- Dottie? Who did some of the tests didn’t seem to be on top of the job. She didn’t explain things well. And she was quite bossy when I was choosing frames. And she did her measurements wrong because when the spectacles wee ready they were wrong and had to be redone. The two people who corrected this were very pleasant and seemed to know what they were doing.
Excellent service. They gave their time. Without rushing. My hearing aid battery went dead. As could not hear what was said. They wrote everything down. Which was a great help. They deserve the 5 star rating. And recommend anyone to go there.
Excellent experience at Vision Express Aberdeen. Was a little late being taken for my appointment however, this was totally understandable given how busy the store was. My Optometrist "Niall" was extremely friendly, professional and very informative. I was then looked after my Alana while choosing my new glasses and I have to say what a joy. Pleasant, friendly, informative and just an amazing young lady, an absolute credit to your store. She definitely made my trip to Vision express an absolute pleasure. A+ service from Alana.
Staff were extremely helpful especially since my husband has Alzheimer’s. They ensured I was with him throughout the appointment and did an excellent job helping us choose our new glasses .
