   I have been using Vision Express at Bon Accord for years, but I tried the Vision Express at Tesco, which I regret. Although the staff were good, the eye test room was not fit for purpose. During the eye test, I had to bend my back uncomfortably because the test screen (in the mirror) was not positioned directly in front of me. I will return to Bon Accord next time.

   Ordered contact lenses in plenty time for holiday which I paid for in store. Nearer holiday contacted them as no message today they were in, was told that they were never ordered! Was told to go to another store and see if they had any spare for my holiday! (Should have been them that sourced them as their mistake) eventually spoke to someone who got me my previous prescription 14days supply for my holiday and they would order them. Back from holiday still still no message to say they were ready to be picked up. Phoned and they said I’d picked them up! The ones I picked up were the 14day supply for holiday not the months supply of my actual prescription that I paid for! They said they had to order them, I mean what the actual 3times these had to be ordered!!!! Absolutely terrible service never the same people twice. Aberdeen Tesco store .

   Staff we very helpful and attentive. My dad is in his 90’s and works at a slow pace but nobody rushed him or made him feel awkward. The optician was very kind and took time to explain everything to him. The back up staff listened to what we needed, nothing fancy and bombproof, and made really good suggestions which we were delighted with. In short, we were delighted with the service.

   I visited the store on an emergency appointment as I had an issue with my eye. Josephine, the optician, was fantastic. The time, care and attention she gave me was second to none. She was very calm and reassuring as she arranged an appointment for me at the hospital as she felt I needed to be seen there. I was very impressed by the whole team as I had to sit and wait for eye drops to take effect in the store area. They dealt with all customers in a cheerful and professional manner at all times. I look forward to attending the store again soon for my regular eye test.

   After my glasses broke, I went into the branch where I was helped by the manager. Within 10 minutes my frame had been replaced and lenses swapped over. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will be returning to them in the future and would recommend their services to anyone
