   The worst place I've lived in, no heating in the bathroom, cracked windowsills and a draft coming through constantly (being in Buxton this is not acceptable), we were told there was a cleaner working for them but when I moved in, the place hadn't been cleaned in three years and the proof of this was a packet of crisps that had been out of date since 2017 behind a sofa. They only respond when they are receiving money and ignore you when you mention how the building is falling apart and needs things to be fixed. With us being students, WiFi is essential, however the WiFi in the building didn't work 80% of the time. Coming onto this site to write an honest review of this company and the place I lived at also showed me that the '5 star reviews' they have received are false, as I can clearly see the people leaving these stellar reviews work there... I recognise the name from being at their offices to complain about how awful the housing was.

   Rented a room in a flat share a few years ago, SJ lettings were very flexible, removing unwanted furnishings to make way for my own possessions, also allowed me to redecorate the room. Very affordable and friendly agents.

   Rented student accommodation for 2 years with SJ Lettings. Extremely helpful and will go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable in your new home! maintenance came out and sorted out any problems straight away! Huge thanks to Neil for all he has done for me! Wouldn't look elsewhere for student accommodation.
