   I joined the Spondon Liberal Club a few years ago, and I couldn't be happier. This place hosts events nearly every night of the week and welcomes everyone, whether you're 18 or 80! Early in the week, you can go from shooting to dancing (talk about diverse interests!). Wednesdays are a blast with bingo and fish and meat raffles (because who doesn’t love a good meat raffle?). Thursdays, you can knit your troubles away or play pool, your choice. Fridays usually feature entertainment, and there's always a singer on Saturdays. Sundays? Fantastic entertainment to wrap up your week. They show all the live sports, too, so you won't miss a game. And if there's a special day in England, like St. George's Day or even Ladies Day at Cheltenham, the club celebrates it with style. Plus, the bar staff?    We went to see a friend singing , made very welcome & if you didn't want the entertainment room there was a lovely nice quiet area where you could just have a drink & chat. Car park is very small so we parked in the village hall car park & it's just a short walk.

   Decent and caring owners..live music and a wine and cheese event. The customers/punters are all polite and welcoming. Usually a few real ales including gluten free type. No loudmouth idiots ever come here.

   Observing all the current regulations. They a new security system and front door. Went to the coffee club which is on Thursday morning. Nice people. The disabled access is at the back of the club. 8/1/2023 Spent a nice evening listening to the entertainment. The members evening was great. Some of the pictures have been added.

   Really nice place. Friendly staff and the drinks are very reasonably priced. The lounge area is really comfortable and cosy. The free to use pool table is a great feature and membership is very, very cheap.

   Lovely social club the Liberal. Good choice of beers and spirits, good prices too. Most weeks they put entertainment on. Monday evening was for Mediums of the spirit world which i like. They also have quiz nights, groups. You can book parties, wakes. Nice little place.
