Woodville Box Club looks like a nice venue to me for parties, though I’ve only spent one evening there and we were in the upstairs bar for a film premiere. Overall the experience was a good one and they were very accommodating with all the guests needs. I myself mainly had pints of Guinness and afterwards we sang the night away on the karaoke.
Held son’s 18th birthday party in the function room which is spacious. It could do with some redecoration etc but to be honest doesn’t detract from being a great venue to hold a party. Staff are very friendly helpful and welcoming.
Good atmosphere friendly staff. Function was for kids Halloween. Very kid friendly.
Needs a lot of investment upstairs. Toilets are in poor order and stairs and hallways. Beer served was also kept well. But on my first visit I was really made welcome by such a lovely lady serving behind the bar, this lady was very cheerful, very polite, and seemed to engage really well with everyone. Didn't get her name but short has dyed blonde to white hair small in stature.
Brilliant night, 60s and 70s
The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the drinks were reasonable priced. Also at the weekend they have entertainment on.
Went to the auction but was impressed with the pub/club atmosphere and friendly staff ans customers too
Good for party's and bigger than it looks from the outside. Has a small frontage but a large rear car park.
