His professionalism, punctuality, and friendly attitude truly stood out. Romeo went above and beyond to make the journey smooth and comfortable. He was polite, helpful, and made sure I got to my destination safely and on time. It’s rare to come across such genuine customer service these days, and Romeo really set the standard.    The service is great but the drivers are hit and miss. Some have tried to change the price during a journey some have been 10-20mins late however some have been wonderful with great service and friendly! I would use them if I didn't have another choice.

   Booked a taxi for drop off and pick up service on New Year’s Eve, was quoted a price in advance which I agreed, had confirmation text of my booking which was handy to refer back to. On drop off (1st taxi ride) we had texts to keep us informed of vehicle collecting us and that it had been dispatched with a tracking link, the driver was early, friendly and drove us safely to our destination whilst making polite conversation. Our pick up (2nd taxi ride) was booked for 1am, it got to just after 1am and I hadn’t heard anything, I was just about to call when I had a text to say the car had been dispatched, it was the same driver as before who when he arrived, apologised for being late and went about his friendly manner driving us back. We were charged exactly as quoted, and payment via card was easy, as the driver was so kind I enquired how I could leave him a tip as foolishly didn’t have any cash and it was super easy to add onto my bill so I could pay by card and the driver was really thankful. I would use A1 again and recommend them and the driver 01 in the 18 plate Skoda, my only complaint was A1 knew the driver was running late for our pick up but didn’t call/text to let us know out of courtesy, I was quite understanding with it being NYE but not having the initial contact made us panic we weren’t going to be collected. Also the tracking link didn’t work.

   Shocking. Where do I start... Prebooked 3 taxis, all of which I had text confirmations of with the times and addresses. First taxi arrived 1 hour late because of train strikes, we then missed the first part of our event. Second taxi was booked for 10pm, they claimed it was booked for 10.30pm so arrived late. Bad enough. We were quoted £45 but they tried to charge £80 in the taxi, then brought it down to £70. Third taxi was booked for 11.30pm. Had a text message at 11.30 to say they had arrived, we were outside 2 minutes later to find no taxi there. Called the taxi company who say there is no record of an 11.30pm booking and there's nothing they can do. Completely left us stranded, no other taxis available from any local company. Complete nightmare. THEN, I get a phone call two nights later with one of the taxi drivers shouting at me down the phone saying "WHERE ARE YOU" numerous times before hanging up on me. Absolutely shocking, avoid avoid avoid.

   DO NOT USE this taxi company. Absolutely unreliable. I used them on number of occasions and despite the fact you booked them in advance to pick you up from the airport or for short / longer journey they come late. I always say that everyone should have second chance, but this company let me down number of times with such excuses; that 6-person taxi takes longer to get to the airport or that baggage takes 1 1/2 h to collect (despite the fact that I was already front of the airport at agreed time). Obviously, they will give you additional excuses like manager is not around when you ask for discount for late arrival. Use someone else who will treat you as valuable customer, for example Uber who is cheaper and more reliable.
