Moved in for nearly a week now and realised this accomodation is not worth the money. The lifts been broke since before we moved in but they haven't made an effort to fix it. Lack of communication from staff when asking for help and overall not friendly in the slightest. Save your money and find a cheaper place that has more amenities.
Good student accommodation, great view and perfect place to be for a student. The shops and Newcastle town are a 2 minute walk away with great parking close by. The manager Phill is very hands on to provide the best experience possible for the residents, making great bonds and making sure that everything is sorted. If you’re a keele student it is perfect. I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else. 5/5
I’ve had the pleasure of living in The Met for the past two years, and I can confidently say it’s been an outstanding experience. The location is fantastic, with a variety of conveniences just steps away, including shops and a gym—everything you need for daily life is within easy reach. The building itself is always well-kept and maintained, which speaks to the attention to detail and commitment of the management team. A standout feature of The Met is the building manager, Philip Watwood. He is always available and incredibly responsive to any concerns. Not only is he professional, but he’s also genuinely friendly and helpful, making the building feel like a true community. Overall, living here has been a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located place to call home!
I have lived with my partner at the Met for the last year whilst being a student ambassador and it has been a great experience. Our room is lovely and has had no problems. The manager Phil is a brilliant guy and the office is open Monday to Friday for parcel delivery. There is a lovely communal area which is regularly cleaned and great to study in. There have been some issues in the last month with the lift not being in service which have been no fault of Phil himself or studentfm but directly due to the lift company. I believe they are doing what they can to prevent the extended lose of the lift being used in the future. I definitely recommend this accommodation for students!
Great accommodation, all of the rooms are studios and it is great to be able to live next door to my friends, but to be able to contain our messes to our own kitchen/living space. Definitely would recommend the rooms and it's very modern and well priced for what your are getting. The building manager Phil, is a lovely person and is always happy to help whenever it is needed, which is great for when you have just moved out of your family home for the first time.
I had a good experience living here. The rooms are decently sized and the rent is very reasonable. The manager Phillip (Phil) is very kind and helpful! Always did his best to help me out with any room issues or noise complaints I had. Knocking off 1 star as some of the residents are inconsiderately loud and immature. Great place, otherwise.
Terrible place. We were without a manager for two months ever since previous manager Nikhar left this place in November. No point of contact for repairs and maintenence, no security. Will advise against booking this place.
Worst renting experience of my life, my window was broken from the day i moved in, although reporting this to the landlord soon after nothing was done. Terrible service and a lack of communication. If you are considering moving into this place I highly suggest looking elsewhere.
Very good place have lived here for a year and have had an amazing time, hands down the best thing about the met is the management team. Nikhar in particular has helped in every situation and has dealt with it amazingly.
I had a very comfortable stay in The MET. I would highly recommend it for any Keele University student. The management is really friendly and very helpful in solving any issues that I had.
