I have used A1 cars quite a lot this year after going down to 1 car in our household and I have nothing but great things to say about them. They are always perfectly on time, never late and not too early either which can make you feel pressured, just perfect. Always really friendly drivers and comfortable clean cars.
Booked for a family of 6 to be picked up from 2 locations for a journey to Southampton docks and back. Fantastic service from Ashley and co. It's great to have found a friendly and reliable local taxi company in Thatcham. Held on to our child booster seat and had it ready for the return journey too. Can't recommend A1 cars highly enough.
Excellent service. Easy to book online. Received a phone call confirming the booking and explaining where the taxi would pick up and the colour and make of the car. The taxi arrived promptly and the driver was friendly and courteous. Would recommend.
A1, Ashley took my 86yr old Mum from Thatcham to Winchester for my daughters wedding. She was picked up in good time, had a lovely safe journey and arrived in time too. Lovely clean tidy car and careful driving. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Mum felt like a princess.
Fantastic company! My wife and I were arriving at different times at the station with baby, buggy, lots of luggage and on delayed trains and our super driver was so accommodating. We used A1 cars 3 times over the weekend and very reliable. Very nice big car and friendly driver, very good for families!
A very enjoyable journey- the driver ended up coming early and was lovely to speak to (he even gave me the best tips on how to get the perfect roast potatoes). Honestly the best cab experience I’ve ever had!

We used A1 Cars to travel to a funeral, the driver not only turned up 10 minutes early but he helped my elderly friend into the car. He drove respectfully at the crematorium and again helped friend out of the car. The driver was pleasant and kind. We would definitely use A1 Cars again
