   We couldn’t recommend Little Delwood enough if you are looking for a pre-school. Our son loved it and the wonderful staff really helped to prepare him for school. Our two year old daughter now goes here and is absolutely loving it. The staff are incredible, they go above and beyond for the children. I’d really struggle to send our children anywhere else after they’ve been at this pre school, prior to moving house it was without a doubt worth the 30min commute each way. The children do so much and are often out for walks in the community, trips to the library etc. As soon as we visited the atmosphere was calm, happy children, the way the staff treat and speak to the children we all felt at complete ease. Communication is also excellent with lots of updates and photos of their day which is always lovely to see how happy they are and what they are up to. We are very grateful our children have been able to go to such a wonderful pre-school.

   A year ago, we moved our daughter to this nursery and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we've ever made. From the very first day, it felt like a second home for her (and for us as parents!). The entire team is incredibly warm, professional, and genuinely passionate about what they do. You can tell they're not just doing a job,they truly care, and it shows in every little detail. They have daily outdoor walks with the kids, they organize fun trips and activities, and they're always coming up with creative ways to keep the children engaged, happy, and learning. What really stands out is how attentive they are.every small thing matters to them, from emotional well-being to safety to how each child is developing. The atmosphere is always positive and full of energy, and my daughter absolutely loves going there. She comes home every day with a smile on her face and stories to tell. I'm beyond grateful for the love, effort, and care they give.this place really is like a second family.

   both my children have attended Little Delwood. my oldest is now in year 1 and my little girl will soon be starting Reception in September, so our time with the Little Delwood team is near the end and it is very sad. I couldn't have trusted anyone else with my baby girl after witnessing the amazing care and attention my boy received. For my daughter who is not as confident as her brother and is delayed in speech, this was the best choice ever. The extra time they dedicate to help with her development has helped her in so many ways. Every member of the team is warm and friendly and both my children have loved them all and their days spent there.

   It’s the type of magical place you wish you found out about sooner. Little Delwood is truly incredible for several reasons. Each week has a well thought out theme. Our favourite theme has been baby animals where the children got to see duck eggs hatch and look after 5 little ducklings for the week. My daughter loves the adventure walks around the beautiful surroundings, including special visits to the fairy tree, dipping her toes into the river in the summer and getting on the community bus with her friends for rhyme time at the library followed by babyccinos. Each member of staff … faultless. I don’t know who’s going to be sadder on our last day at Delwood. Me or my daughter?!? :)

   We love LDK! Our little boy is thriving here with the incredibly experienced and kind team who really have a wealth of experience in all things early years. Every week there is so much going on within the setting and so many opportunities for the children to get out & about on daily walks and outings. Free play opportunities are constant & varied but there is also so many more structured activities for the children to take part in giving them a truly enriching experience. My little boy comes out happy and the staff are so lovely with him. Thank you!
