   Stoke Studio is an absolute gem. Having taken part in courses myself and also sending my girls for a holiday course, Laura is the most welcoming and patient of teachers and is able to inspire and support you at any stage or age. I loved creating a number of pieces with her but it was seeing how she worked with my daughters that sets Laura apart. Laura was particularly intuitive to my girls needs, not only with their differences in age and ability but also emotionally, building their confidence and self esteem and successfully getting them to celebrate their capabilities. She encouraged them to understand the freedom of art and how there is no right or wrong in pottery. The girls loved their sessions and for all of us, it was a real treat to spend time in her garden studio, whether on the beautiful summer afternoon or snuggled up in an autumn evening. I thoroughly recommend Stoke Studios and Laura and look forward to next time.

   Laura has created something truly wonderful with Stoke Studio - a gorgeous haven of creativity and fun, run with such kindness, knowledge and care by Laura. My daughter and I went for a workshop and loved it so much that my daughter then wanted to take friends for her birthday. Laura is a fantastic teacher and we wholeheartedly recommend Stoke Studio.    I've had such a great time at Stoke Studio. My husband got me a beginner's pottery course of three 2-hour lessons over three weeks. Lovely small group of ladies. Laura is really kind and attentive and very chilled - it didn't feel rushed at all. I hadn't done pottery since school but I'm really pleased with the results! Laura also runs a weekly before school art club at Twyford St Mary's primary school which my ten year old son goes to every week. It's the absolute highlight of his week! Thanks for sharing your passion and experience with us all Laura! Xx

   My Daughter (9) and I recently booked onto one of Stoke Studio’s Christmas workshops. We had a wonderful, relaxed and calm morning making and painting pottery under Laura’s excellent tuition. Laura provided us with delicious drinks and Christmas snacks and even went to great lengths to cater for my daughter who has food allergies so she would feel included. Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back again soon!

   My three children aged 5-6 are absolutely loving attending Art class at Stoke Studios on a Friday - such a wonderful end to a busy week. I confess as a parent I was gifted with limited creativity skills, so feel very grateful to this incredible platform where they have the opportunity to develop their imagination and creative thinking. My children are quite shy and thrive much better in smaller settings, which is why the stunning garden studio works so well for them. Laura’s calm and kind approach to teaching is so nurturing and the homemade decorations that she helps the children make are wonderful. It’s not often I find the time to leave reviews, but wanted to share our experience as we wholeheartedly recommend.
