I went to this school and now my job is cleaning dixy toilets I got bullied all the time i was here had to sit on the floor and eat and my English teacher made me drink toilet water for not completing my work in the short amount of time she gave me. Never send your kids to this school unless u want them to leave as derby number 1 tramps

I went to this school in 1960! I was an American and going there because my father (an engineer for Allison Div. of GM) was sent there for a year on a joint development program with Rolls-Royce. I was 16 at the time and noticed that all the 16 year old English lads were a lot smaller than me. The school was strict and formal but had a good curriculum. Since they kept all the windows open at 59 F or 15 C I had to wear scratchy wool underwear to keep warm!

Went there from 1966 to 1972. Really strict, great standards of teaching (a few exceptions) Made lots of friends and helped me to go from rough council estate to uni and beyond. Life is what you make it!
