   I have been a member for a year, I love going to the gym as it’s so friendly and I enjoy going swimming in the evenings. I like going to aqua and dancing classes. Josh is great, he is always very attentive and approachable. He is always there to help, thanks Josh!

   Carers that came in with a client for the learner pool. Could not ask for better staff. Caring, supportive and cheerful. Facilities are fantastic. Give the lifeguards and reception staff a pat on the back from us. Our client was so happy.

   We hired the small pool for a birthday party. It was excellent value for money and would highly recommend. We could use the pool for one hour and have a maximum of 30 people in the water but one adult for every 2 under 8. Our party was only 10 children and 3 adults in the water and this gave the children loads of space to play. The centre provided floats, noodles, sinkers and balls to make the party really fun. You can also hire a room for your own food after, at an extra (but reasonable) cost. The pool was well maintained and looked after and the lifeguards were doing a great job too. changing facilities were clean and showers worked well.

   My son missed his swimming lesson a few days ago due to illness. I called them, and they told me to come today (Friday) at 6 PM. We traveled all the way to the pool, only to be told upon arrival that they had changed the rules—now requiring a doctor’s certificate to reschedule a lesson. The customer service was awful, with one staff member saying one thing and another saying something completely different. Our time was completely wasted, and despite us being there and pleading, the manager refused to let my son take the lesson. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, and I have no intention of sending my son here again.

   Under-equipped gym. Apart from cycle and treadmills there’s only one of each machine. Very small weight area.

   Unfortunately having to leave a bad review here as my experience with the toddler swimming lessons were awful. The lifeguard is extremely rude and not good with the children. The children (ages 3/4) have to sit on a step whilst waiting their turn and have nothing to do. I saw the lifeguard telling my son off for letting go of his noodle etc whilst waiting his turn yet when he was running into the pool he did nothing and I wasn’t allowed in. I wouldn’t recommend for your children! I don’t feel safe or happy to bring my child back. Also trying to get hold of people on reception by phone/email is impossible.

   My two boys started level 1 swimming at this leisure centre 3 weeks ago and the swim teacher/ instructor is absolutely brilliant. My two boys love her, she is so enthusiastic and engaging. Thank you for being so great x

   My grandson uses this venue for swimming lessons where he is getting very good. The teacher is very understanding as my grandson is deaf.
