   I did my full bike license with Ady and passed! When I originally opted for the 3 day course Cathrine on the phone was lovely and helped me get dates that worked with my schedule then when I wanted to add a forth day of training they managed to squeeze me in on a added Saturday session, they really did accommodate me where possible. From my taster session all the way through to receiving my pass certificate Ady was supportive, encouraging, professional and all around fantastic! I honestly could not have asked for a better instructor and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. I would highly recommend booking with the Fatboy team for any bike license needs.

   I booked my CBT with them and they sent me 3 reminder emails in which they mentioned i have to bring DVLA , jacket , jeans but never said if you will not bring helmet and gloves we will cancel your CBT training and you have to rebook and pay again . when i went to the center there were 20s of helmets but they didn’t allow me to do my CBT. When i don’t have bike how can i have helmet and gloves ? if it was too complusory why they have not mentioned in the 3 email? 1 at the time of booking and other 2 at the time of reminder? now they are saying my amount is wasted. the behaviour one staff ( female ) was not good. obviously skin colour matters. anyway i will complain in council because for me 200 is a big amount and with this amount i can give 2 months groceries to my family in home country

   What a fantastic experience, I had Adey, Rachel & James as a team. A little informal which put me at ease but very professional when it came to the serious stuff. They all expressed an element of realism and honesty into the motorcycle world. Had I have needed another day or if I failed to complete it I'd still have come back. I'll be recommending them to everyone who wants to start riding. If I don't move up to another licence then I'll definitely be seeing these guys in 2 years! Thanks Fatboy. One hell of a ride!!

   A standout part of the day was learning from Rachel, my instructor. She not only explained every point of CBT with clarity, but also tailored the session to suit my pace and needs. I’d never ridden a automatic bike before, and Rachel was calm, encouraging, and endlessly patient—her supportive feedback and clear instructions instantly boosted my confidence. She made what I thought would be an intimidating experience feel completely manageable and fun

   Shocking! Save yourself time and money and book in with Phoenix in Fareham. I had no riding experience going in to my cbt. Started about 8am, got on a bike around 10am, told at 12pm that I am not ready to go out on the road and that the instructor needed to finish by 3pm so I need to book a continuation course. I tried to book the continuation course but was told to phone up because nobody at the centre can book that, nor did they know how much it is.... After calling the number they gave me, which went to voicemail, I cut my losses and booked in with Phoenix. They were excellent and didn't make me sign a declaration that I would have to pay £500 if the bike was dropped at any time, as was the case with Fat Boy. A hugely unprofessional experience which just seemed to have one aim: fleecing as much money out of the learner as possible. £150 really poorly spent on my end.

   I had an absolutely fantastic experience doing my Direct Access course with Fatboy MCT. I had a unique experience due to very unfortunate circumstances which meant I had the pleasure of learning under each of the DAS instructors: Steve, Jack and Rachael. All of whom were fantastic instructors - true bikers, not just people doing a job. There's a really nice laid back atmosphere to keep you comfortable if you're anxious like me and allow you to learn at your own pace. There's a lot of emphasis on having fun whilst still being taught everything from a safety focused perspective - I don't know how they managed to make the learning feel so effortless! Thank you Steve and Jack for such enjoyable training days. I want to give a special shout out to Rachael who took me through my final training day and two test days - I passed Mod 1 first time and Mod 2 second time. Not only was Rachael a fantastic motorcycle instructor but she went above and beyond in helping me deal with mental health issues which were standing in my way, and so I left with not only a license and confidence in safely riding but also with a genuine impact on my overall life as well. Thanks again for everything Rachael - you were invaluable and I couldn't praise you enough! Thank you also to the admin team for dealing with my bookings and phone calls with that same approachable Fatboy style. Can't quite put into words how good my experience was, and I would have no hesitation in giving the strongest recommendation. Thank you and hope to see you around! :)

   I had a very similar experience to the other guy giving a 2 star rating to Fatboy MCT. Didn't pass my CBT the first try. I have never ridden a bike before so I had confidence issues and wobbled a little at times, which is not something you want on the road. The other reason I got flunked is because I drove off too fast around 'bends' at practice so I was never taken out on the road and my trainer ended my training around noon. ( I drove fast from the pretend bend because I wanted to get back to the training position fast btw and did tell them, but oh, well..). So I was suggested to rebook a session to do element E entirely and redo 2 parts of element C. Which I really wanted to and was looking forward to so I did call to rebook it a week later after I practiced enough: I was given a date over the phone and was told it would be around £110 to do the above. I waited 3 days for the email with the details and confirmation to arrive, called around 3 times a day, left a voicemail, but never received a callback or the email. It feels petty to leave a bad review in general and I did appreciate Rachels advices and reasoning for her not letting me have my certificate yet, but the treatment I received after was a little offputting and seeing it is not the first time I just wanted others to be wary.    Fatboy MCT were superb from start to finish. I did a CBT with Rachel who helped building my confidence early on. I then had Steve for my DAS course, who was patient, friendly and made the whole thing really enjoyable. Catherine on the admin team also really helped getting bookings sorted at a time when it was quite difficult due to the Covid backlog. I'd recommend Fatboy to anyone - the whole team are great, and deserve their good reputation. You always feel that they just want you to be safe - there's no bravado, just calm, clear instruction and and a good atmosphere. Thanks!
