I Have been having lessons with mark for approx 10 months now. I chose mark because he has an indoor studio with good technology. And, after doing a bit of research I could also see that there were already lots of positive reviews from Mark’s other pupils. A bit of a no brainier to give him a go. I had one assessment lesson and then we discussed what my options were - I chose to have a few individual lessons before buying a lesson package. Mark’s advice has made huge positive changes to my game and I would recommend him as a coach to anyone that is looking to improve. The tech (video and club head data) Mark uses has allowed him to show me what I’m doing wrong and the measurable improvements when I’m starting to do it right. As a result, I’ve found it much easier to improve rather than getting stuck on a single issue for months on end.
Mark is a great golf instructor. He listens to understand your issues and then watches you take your shot. He discusses the causes of the problem and explains how to resolve it. Using the video technology he can get to the root causes and show you in slow motion from several angles what the problem is. If that doesn’t work he has a fantastic ability to show you a different way. His advice is tailored to the individual and their limitations. He cured my hook and helped me strike the ball better. I am playing the best golf of my life after four or five lessons this year. A fantastic coach.
After 20 years I decided to try my hand at golf again and after a few rounds it became apparent that I needed some help. Mark was recommended to me and after a couple of lessons he has identified the key issues with my set up, grip and swing and has provided me with some great feedback and exercises which is already making a big difference to my game, especially off the tee and around the green. I have a long way to go and lots to learn but I am confident that I have an excellent coach in Mark and am looking forward to working with him.
