   Mercy Care Centre is a large well established Care Home, committed to providing high quality care and support to its residents and their families. They are able to offer care to people with a variety of needs this includes care for people living with dementia , people with health needs and end of life care.mercy care centre always put their Residents first, and staff work to their Core Values which are Dignity, Respect, Excellence, Openness and Involvement. All the staff team are very friendly and go above and beyond for the residents.staff are very knowledgeable and always keep family members updated on their loved ones health . They have fantastic activities team who work hard daily making sure all the residents are occupied and included. Working here for nearly two years I have progressed in my role thanks to the support of my manager and deputy managers.

   My nan said she was pushed to the floor at this care home in November 2021 resulting in a 5month hospital admission this resulted in her having a broken back! They called nhs 111 not 999 and she was left ALONE on the floor for at-least 7 hours before paramedics arrived. Paramedics raised safeguarding concerns, our family raised safeguarding concerns - staff interviewed under police caution The list of failings at beaumont house goes on - Toe nails were never cut despite being told they were Her handbag has never been found Regularly my nan would cry and tell us the staff were hurting her - we were told by the staff this was her dementia - this was totally out of character for our Nan who has never said this before despite being in a variety of different care settings.

   As a family we had to move fast, very sadly mum got dementia and it was very clear she needed 24hr care and support. We were very lucky there was a room available when we needed it, as the home comes highly recommended by the local professionals. Mum has settled in extremely well, she has had her ups and downs with her dementa, the staff have been amazing,supporting her through her challenging times and continues to do so. My mum is so precious to me and 100% put my trust in the Mercy Care Centre as they continue to keep her safe and Happy.

   I have worked for Mercy Care for nearly 21 years, and have loved and enjoyed my time working, with such wonderful team. As staff, we care about each other as much as caring for residents. It has always been a happy home, and hopefully, always will be. Over the years, as staff, we have wonderful memories of the relations of our residents. With whom we had a loving relationship. And I personally miss seeing a lot of those people. Everyone that’s come here to work, never wants to leave. That says something. And a BIG thank you to our Management team , who are very supportive. Thanks to our Manager, who supported us so well during this horrible period of Covid-19, by making sure we had all our PPE. We stayed safe and kept our residents safe. She even supplied many other homes with gowns etc, so they could be safe as well. As the saying goes Management is the Making and the Breaking of a place. So thank you again to our Manager.    I have worked for Mercy Care for many years and I have to say it is the best place I have ever worked in. We have a very dedicated staff team and caring Manager who goes above and beyond her role to meet the needs of her residents and staff. It is always a pleasure coming into work and I feel privileged to be part of a fantastic team.
