My daughter absolutely loves her ballet lessons with Winchester City Dance. Miss Carmel makes every lesson a magical experience and she is so warm and friendly. My daughter has really grown in confidence and ability.
My daughter has attended classes for over a year. She really enjoys the teaching by Miss Carmel and enthusiastically shows off what has been taught. It’s her favourite after school activity. I would recommend this dance school to any parent.
Our daughter has been attending baby ballet for over a year and loves it! She is always excited to go and see Miss Carmel and the different theme each week is always fun! She loves showing us what she has learnt at home.

Have been going to Adult Beginners Ballet for over a year and only have good things to say about it. Carmel is an amazing teacher, she makes the evening light hearted and fun whilst teaching you new skills and making sure you get a great workout. People are friendly and there is always a good atmosphere. Carmel ensures there is always a good mix new dance techniques to learn along with practicing previous techniques, always with lovely music. All abilities are welcome which is good for me with no experience at all. I'm grateful this class exists.

My child has been going to baby ballet classes here for over a year now, and she loves it. Carmel is a great teacher, very approachable and super friendly. She has great relations with kids too. She creates a theme for every week and children enjoy themselves very much with music, costumes, and props. My child loves the classes and we are happy with the experience ourselves! Parents also have the opportunity to watch a performance at the end of the term. Very reasonably priced classes as well. Strongly recommended!

Winchester City Dance is an absolutely amazing dance school. Since joining over a year ago, I have had nothing but positive and exciting Ballet lessons. My confidence, technique and attitude has improved massively - as a result of the level of expertise (and friendliness!) within this dance school. Since moving out of Winchester for a few months, I have absolutely no interest in going anywhere else (based in London!!) - as Carmel is such an amazing teacher. Would absolutely recommend to any adult looking for themselves, or for their child.
Carmel is an excellent teacher with a wealth of knowledge. Each class is highly enjoyable and truly a wonderfully accepting place to be. Carmel ensures that each student pushes themselves to achieve their own goals whatever their age or ability. Highly recommend
