Andy was an excellent teacher who has given me confidence to take my next steps in the plumbing world. Coming with no plumbing experience whatsoever the learning approach was just the right pace for me and most of all I really enjoyed the experience, I was genuinely sad when my course ended.
Level 2 diploma in plumbing Would highly recommend Core Vocational Training at Southampton. I have spent an enjoyable 4 weeks doing my training and assessments with plumbing tutor Andy. He is an exceptional tutor, with great knowledge in the plumbing industry, and is an extremely friendly guy that’s very easy to talk to and goes Above and Beyond. Andy creates a great working atmosphere , and is always there to help you on a one to one basis with other students there. I have learnt a huge amount and also done extra plumbing tasks through this course, also been given great advice. Through Andy’s teaching I now have the confidence to do plumbing jobs in other people’s homes. I have set up my own plumbing business in domestic plumbing which is all down to the course and Andy. I also did my theory exams at Core Vocational which was taken by Catherine, this again was excellently delivered. I have no hesitation in recommending the course to others. Look forward to doing other courses with you.

I recently completed my plumbing course with Andy. I had a great experience, he is friendly and very knowledgeable. Working in a small group he had time for everyone when we need extra help. I have now gone self-employed, with the training and confidence gained on the course. I would highly recommend both Cath and Andy to anyone thinking of getting into plumbing.
I have done a 2 week practical training and a 2 week practical assessment as well as the online exams for the diploma. I can't recommend The Plumbing School highly enough. Cath and Andy run it seamlessly, small class sizes and a lot of one to one if needed. I thoroughly enjoyed it all.

Andy is absolutely fantastic, he has a faultless wealth of knowledge and is an extremely friendly guy thats very easy to talk to. This makes the whole process of examination much more relaxed as he helps to alleviate any stress you may be feeling. Andy is a genuine guy who is full of knowledge and trade skills for this course. He is a really helpful person and will help in all areas of plumbing skills. I can’t recommend Core Vocational Training higher enough. My experience while completing the level 2 Plumbing course was both educational and enjoyable. The class based teaching is lively, interactive and extremely informative, while the practical work leaves you confident to tackle jobs ranging from installing hot water tanks to completing an entire bathroom. Andy, who taught us was always willing to give extra tips and information and I felt went far beyond what I would have expected from the course. A fantastic investment in yourself, well worth every penny.
