   Ballard is a wonderful school for children who conform to their 'norm' but they lack experience, expertise and deeper knowledge to cater for anything outside of this, which is something to be mindful of in a world where we are learning and improving education about the unique qualities defining every child. Their financial motives conflict at times with what being a part of a family really means, whilst their capability to extend learning at the very upper ranges of ability can be challenged. Ballard School is a limited environment in certain regards that fails to be inclusive at times, despite the fantastic facilities, so be sure the glove fits well. We were deeply disturbed that we were not kept informed about our child's emotional welfare at times and that they were excluded from an activity without parental knowledge. The school can be resistant to criticism and doesn't cope well with challenges to their 'norm,' preventing them from extending their knowledge and offer. As a result, it is not our view, or experience, that all children will receive a bespoke education, as it is only tailor made to fit within their limits, capabilities and business model. 11.12.22 With regard to comments below. Unfortunately, Google doesn't allow you to maintain the original post's date in edit mode. Google review is a platform for people to voice their personal experience and view, which is how the review was presented, as our lived experience. People are capable of making their own personal judgement based upon their child. In terms of accuracy, providing 'evidence' to support the review is not appropriate, in the school's favour, or potentially fair if you have since made improvements so the discussion ends there. Instead, hopefully the opportunity has since been taken to accept what was, in order to reflect, learn and educate for the positive benefit of all.

   An outstanding school Our daughter has attended since nursery and is now in Reception. Since day 1, despite covid causing disruption, we have been made to feel welcome and able to attend a host of excellent events. Our daughter is flourishing and is so confident and keen to learn which is really encouraging for us as parents. The facilities are exceptional and kept very clean. Our daughter is treated as an individual and early/late clubs help us to plan our working days. She loves those clubs so much that she would be sad to miss out on a session! We recommend Ballard as an exceptional, caring, family school.

   Exceptional school. First of all, we have chosen it not just for the academic level and huge variety of facilities but for the values they talk openly about, and we are not disappointed. All the school stuff live and breathe the values they talk about and the children are a reflection of that. All the children have naturally good manners, everybody is happy and they strive for more. As a good side effect, all the parents around us share the same values and that create a great harmony for all. Last but not least, they are very good integrating people from different cultures so nobody feel excluded, on the opposite, children with different backgrounds are celebrated and feel proud of their background. What a great place to create the future.

   Ballard offers a lot of amazing opportunities including performing to parents and staff at concerts like the Royal Albert Hall . I have been at Ballard for nearly 5 years since year 7 - I am nearly on my last year as a GCSE's y11 student and the teachers have never given up on me because they believe I have potential. The facilities are amazing. When I first arrived at Ballard I was nervous - I got a great welcome from Mr McCleave. I hope some people choose this school because it offers so much and being at Ballard has helped me mature as a young woman.

   I wholeheartedly recommend this school. Since joining, the change in my daughter has been remarkable. She has simply flourished. It is indeed a 'Bespoke Education' - everyone of her teachers knows how to support, encourage and get the best out of her. She has a new-found confidence and leaves to school everyday with a spring in her step. She especially loves all of the Performing Arts opportunities and has signed up to the many clubs and extra-curricular activities the school offers. Sending our daughter to Ballard was one of the best decisions we have made as parents.
