My son has been there since baby and child group. He is now in class 4 and we feel very lucky to be a part of a wonderful community with excellent teachers. The children follow a curriculum which follows closely with their development and needs rather than pushing them through with regular testing to meet government standards. The children can enjoy their childhood here whilst taking part in a careful and loving education.

We had the honour of bringing the Peredur Eurythmy School's Graduation performance The Buried Moon with Poetry by Walter De la Mere, Kathleen Rayne and Judith Wright and with Piano-music by Tchaikowsky and Kodaly. There was a very appreciative audience of pupils from class 6 upwards,. teachers, and residents from the Shieling Community and Lantern centre nearby.

I have 3 children in 3 different schools (due to moving house), and I’m so surprised other schools has not studied & copied their approach. The child is not forced in a square peg hole, instead it’s about building the child’s confidence, building relationships, discovering their individuality & together, riding with their awareness of the world. In most schools, they study a text book & then based on memory have an exam. Here, they write their own textbook, with creativity & self control …. In short, building a love for learning & the world around them with self discovery. Surely, this is what school is about?

My children have gone to RWS since kindergarten and education provided is second to none. They are preparing my children for life. Teaching them about the world are roles and responsibilities within it. There is no other school in the area which understands and nurtures the whole child. I would recommend anyone to explore the Steiner education this school is excellent at providing.

We moved to Ringwood specifically to send our kids to the Ringwood Waldorf School. It has such a vibrant community, nothing else locally compares to it. We love the festivals and everybody is encouraged to get involved with community projects throughout the year. The education provides a healthy balance of academic, social and physical skills. This sets our children up to deal with any challenges they will face after school.
