Contributed to our decision to move house. One of their clients led a "witch hunt" against us and got Lovedays to send us threatening communication and they didn't obtain the correct facts first. Would never use this company.. .... obviously better ones in the area
After dealing with very difficult solicitors (not at Lovedays) when buying our new house, it was a welcome relief to get help from Lovedays to sell our old one! It’s been a simple and pleasant working relationship whereby we can actually speak directly to the solicitor working on our behalf! This can be a novelty in some places. We can’t thank Lovedays enough for restoring my faith in solicitors!
I was recommended Lovedays by the agent I was buying from - I was told it was an absolute no no to take a recommendation from someone acting for a seller but it has certainly worked in my favour! Josephine Moran has been an absolute superstar from the word go and as a first time buyer not knowing what I'm doing I've felt supported and well informed through the whole process. The service has been thorough, efficient and easy - I've been so lucky to have Lovedays as my solicitors and when I dropped by the office the whole team couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. We recently sold and bought a new property with Lovedays handling the conveyancing, as an aside they also produced and hold our wills, and have dealt with many things in our behalf. However back to the point of our recent conveyancing, we are all in difficult times which throw up unusual things, despite this our conveyenser, Rachael Mellor not only dealt with these but with the many other things that made our particular purchase continuously changing, over four months , but took them in her stride. She worked relentlessly to make sure we got not just the house we wanted but protected our interests in every way. Rachael is the most dogmatic, professional person I have ever had the pleasure to deal with and strongly recommend to anyone looking for a conveyenser to handle a sale or purchase, engage Rachael, absolutely brilliant ! Very poor. Would give zero stars if possible. Trying to purchase a house, our solicitor is all ready to exchange and they won’t get back to her. I’m told that our sellers have been in to sign. Estate agent has tried to contact Katheryn at Lovedays 4 days running and her calls are not being returned - she’s asked to speak to others in the firm but no-one is “available” to speak to her. This has then been followed today by an email to say that Katheryn is “under no obligation to update” the estate agents. Clearly they also feel it’s beneath them to update my solicitor too or I wouldn’t be having to ask the estate agent to chase as well. Embarrassingly poor customer service. Avoid at all costs.
