   I cancelled my taxi booking and the company responded by swearing at me. Very unprofessional and unacceptable behavior. I would not recommend this service. Please avoid this service

   Would give them no stars, constantly late, one day the driver was meant to arrive at 3.30pm and arrived at 5pm. My anxiety was through the roof. The company sent the car to the wrong address and failed to change it despite being asked on several occasions. Drivers are rude or lie to you. Other drivers have fallen asleep.

   Taxi driver by the name of Javid Iqbal owner of a Black Peugeot Partner SF15 CYJ caused accident with my car, and refuses to accept any blame 4 weeks ago, even though he used the wrong lane to go straight. Clear doesn't understand simple arrows. If you get this man as your driver, do yourself a favour and request a different driver for you own safety. Still has use of his vehicle with minor scratch, whereas I have been without my car for the last 4 weeks with added stress. How he is still allowed to drive as a licenced Taxi Driver is beyond me. Shocking.

   Shocking company. Left my phone in one of their cars and never got it back. Car never picked anyone else up and the driver went straight home but amazingly no phone in the back. No trust whatsoever!!!

   So i have been rather reluctant to use taxis as last time I used one, a different firm, the driver was falling asleep at the wheel, however I took the plunge and did it. The guy was very friendly and chatty. Insisted I booked before I got into the taxi (he pulled up in town) to ensure my safety and was very polite and took card. When I called up to book I got through to an actual human instead of one of these automated messages. Very good and will be using again.

   I have used National Cars now for around 10 years. I'm really not sure why they have bad reviews, I've always found them to be very reliable and staff very polite also. Prices have always been so good too. I wouldn't use any other taxi company in Derby!

   A real shame that after many years of using National I won't be using them again. I was told that my taxi would be 15 minutes so I stood there in the rain waiting, after 15 minutes had passed I called back only to be told the driver had picked up another job before me and was another 15-20 minutes away. I walked the 3 miles home. As this has happened before and the general condition of the cabs is quite poor I've decided to spend a bit more in the future and find a better service.
