First I want to say thank you no other taxi in Burton would take me and my dog to the they did with no hesitation and the driver was a Jamaican man who was also really good waited for me to return overall a real good experience despite the circumstances
Been using them for a while. They are often late and tonight they left me and my granddaughter waiting for 40 minutes. They said they had rung me but they hadn't then said they had been and I missed them. I was in a small car park and nobody came in a taxi at all. I had to arrange another car from elsewhere. Wouldn't use again
We ordered a driver from new street taxis to collect us from Birmingham Airport at 10pm at night. This is the first time using the firm, so a little apprehensive as to whether they would deliver a good service. I can tell you the service was second to none. I booked the taxi weeks prior and was given a reference number and told my flight would be tracked. When we landed at the airport I was contacted by the driver who asked me to call him when I got to the pick-up point. I did this and literally 2 minutes later he was there putting our cases in the boot. A very comfortable drive home and all this for a really good price and cheaper than airport parking. We will definitely be using new street taxis in the future. Thank you.
Rang to book a taxi, i repeated the pick up time just toe be safe only to have the guy yell down the phone at me aggressively. I was shocked at how unprofessional this was so i said please cancel the pick up its no longer needed. He dispatched it anyways & now he has an angry driver. I'm just in shock by how they spoke to me on the phone. Not a polite or friendly service
Had a hospital appointment at 9am.. new street taxis were brilliant. Driver tried all roads he could to escape traffic.. thanks to new street I made it in time! Unfortunately I didn’t get my drivers name but he was brilliant! :) Lucy townley
I can highly recommend New Street Taxis. The driver was friendly & I felt safe on the journey home. The car was in really good condition & very clean. The price was cheaper than other companies I've used. Will be using them again.
Fantastic service used for my nervous daughter on a busy Saturday night. The driver was very kind, phoned me once he had picked her up and the operator phoned me to say they were on the way. My daughter felt safe & the fare was the most competitive in the area. We will use them all the time now, they go above and beyond.
I recently had the pleasure of using New Street Taxis in Burton, and I have to say that I was thoroughly impressed with the level of service that they provided. From the moment I made my booking, I knew that I was in good hands. The drivers at New Street Taxis are some of the most professional and courteous that I have ever encountered. They arrived on time, and they were always happy to help with any luggage or other needs that I had. The cars themselves were clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable ride.
Driver was very nice and friendly. On time for collection and pick up. Confidently and securely got a wheelchair user in and out of their taxi. I will continue to use them in future when we need a wheelchair accessible taxi.
An absolutely fantastic service. Picked up my mother-in-law, took her home to Derby, friendly chatted with her all the way and waited till she was inside her door safe before pulling away. 1st class service from start to finish. Now my 1st choice of taxi
