Never had an issue until recently. Why accept a booking if your drivers aren't around? The whole point of booking at a certain time is for the driver to arrive at that time. Useless.

I searched for wheelchair accessible taxis and iCars came up in the list. They were specifically labelled as a provider of such vehicles. When I called them to ask for more information they said that they did not provide this service. Otherwise for standard taxis they are pretty good and have never let me down.

We booked Icars around 1 week prior to departure, driver arrived who didnβt know which airport we were departing who took wrong turnings even following sat nav, giving directions to lanes to Birmingham airport and having to shout STOP due to traffic and to get in the correct lane and then cut up another driver was the WORST experience I have ever had !! The return journey was 30 mins late dire to mot receiving the order till the time we landed but the driver was really good and friendly. I would not recommend this company at all and next time would rather walk to 30 miles etc than give this company any of my money in future !!

Booked a taxi for my son for work. Called an hour before. Normally get a text so called again to confirm. They said, yes it's all booked. I said, will it be deffinetley on time? They said yes! No it wasn't. 10 minutes late! Subsequently he lost a weeks attendance bonus! Really unprofessional!!! Only use this taxi company if you are desperate!!

Booked a taxi, was 5 minutes late - as I was due to attend a blood test i called immediately. I was then told that my taxi had been cancelled due to a βsystem errorβ and I would have to wait at least 10 minutes for another taxi (in addition to the 5 minutes it took for them to give us the same reason they gave at the start of the call) I missed my blood tests and had to reschedule. I had also booked time off work to attend the appointment. To round up, missed work, missed blood test and I now have to await a refund because of this βsystem errorβ.

Booked taxi for 7:30 to start work at 8am (a 10-15 min journey but added extra time to allow for traffic / late arrival) taxi did not arrive till 7:55. Called taxi base at 7:38, spoke to the rudest man who clearly hates his job, I asked where the taxi was, he said it would arrive in 3 mins (this was a blatant lie as I could see taxi was actually picking someone else up at the time!!!) called back at 7:48 and spoke to a nicer gentleman, who deserves better than this pathetic excuse for a business, he was a lot nicer around the whole situation but still did not offer an apology. Driver then eventually arrived 25 minutes late and again, did not offer any apology whatsoever. I had been told this company was better than rival alpha - turns out both are absolutely awful and I will return to using Burton based 510 as I recommend everyone else does too.

Booked my airport transfer about 6 weeks before. When arriving at the airport I was asked by the driver abruptly if I was at the agreed meeting spot and to be ready for him despite me waiting for him for 5 minutes. When I got to the driver I was accused of not paying a Β£35 deposit Iβd already paid 6 weeks prior. He preceded to quiz me on who I had paid before I had to show him my bank statement as proof of payment. Without apologising he then told me sometimes people that operate the phones take the payments for themselves and donβt tell the drivers. Either way the bloke was pretty rude so I wonβt be using iCars again.

Asked for a few taxi's from here as my car died and they never told me they arrived at my house, and left. Also a few times they were not on time at all

Pre booked taxi for 07:30am, taxi did not show up, several calls to the office where I was fobbed off with multiple excuses - the call handler even told me that the taxi was outside my house - it wasn't. Taxi finally turned up at 8am - making me late for work. No apology from Icars - will never use again and would discourage anyone from doing so too. Would rate minus stars if the option was available. Abysmal service and attitude.
