This branch is just a joke !!! Not only that there is one cashier for 20 people in the queue so you have to spend hours waiting, you are welcomed and directed by not very kind person dressed up in the tracksuit looking like just going for a jogging and if you not happy she tells you to go to Halifax as they are part of the grouop ! Disgusting experience.

Recently, I tried to exchange a few kilos of coins that had accumulated over the past dozen years. Because I'm disabled, I had coins packed in a shopping cart. I walk with a cane, and upon entering the bank, I wanted to make sure I could handle the matter, so I explained my case to the hostess at the entrance. She said yes, of course, and directed me to the queue. I stood for about 15 minutes, which is a long time for me. Unfortunately, due to the slowness of the bank employee behind the counter, I stood for about 20 minutes, observing the arrogance of this man who came to work in a T-shirt that was dirty, wrinkled, and generally sloppy. When it was finally my turn, the rude bank employee "ordered" me to repackage the coins into smaller bags. The bank can't afford this? To just demand, to dictate terms, is very unfair behavior from a bank, so typical of banks! I asked the hostess to explain why she had misled me, and she told me she was mistaken, but so what? What embarrassing behavior from the bank!

Frankly this branch should be closed. It is the worst customer experience I have had in any bank and the Manager was quite happy to leave me stranded after an employee just disappeared for his lunch break, without letting me know (after starting to deal with my request). This was the final straw and Lloyds will see us empty our accounts and go elsewhere. Total absence of customer care.

Most incompetent and unprofessional workers. Spending more time chatting between them and drinking tea other than helping customers. Been left multiple times waiting for 50min with no advise or direction, with them not even writing down my name. Worst bank ever.

rude staff, completely unhelpful, gives me conflicting information, said i wasn't allowed to book a meeting with a staff member at the branch to help me with my banking issues but then proceeded to let me book a meeting after talking to multiple staff members. (does not take responsibility for their actions) and then another member of staff came walking by not understanding any of the issues i had but proceeded to threaten to stop my services because i pointed out that ive just been given conflicting information from a member of staff.

When you close 90% of your branches, you'd hope the few still open would be good with a high number of component staff. Sadly not.

I clicked on β€œGet Directions” for Lloyds Bank Broad Street branch. Google maps directed me by Car to the location and it is a pedestrianised street and the bank isn’t even there. I will probably get fined for entering one way streets and pedestrianised zones ! Not happy!!!

Extremely crowded. Cashiers are always unavailable. Not sure what is the point of having physical presence when there are no employees to cater to customers.

Every time I went, always are bad outcomes. Last time, I went for a simple name change and I waited for more than 30mins in queue then cashier told me to sit down. After waiting 15 more minutes, I am told they are struggling with one customer and that they will close in 45 minutes. I am sent away and told to come next week. The previous experience before this, it was a similar reason. The person dealing with me agreed and was on my side but couldn’t resolve the issue (it’s too lengthy to explain). Took absolute ages. What a waste of time. Heavily considering to leave to a different bank.

I went to the bank in my one hour lunch break to deposit cash. People were queuing outside of the building in rain. The female staff asked me if I need counter service. I said No. She asked me to be in the queue so I followed her instruction. Then I peeped in as I just wanted to deposit, using machine and see nobody was using the machine. So I went to the staff and asked again I just wanted to use the machine to deposit the money. She listened but still insisted me to be in the long queue as she she hadn’t asked other people what they come for. What is the point of asking people to make queue in rain just to use the machine. Again, nobody was using any machine and not many people were in the building. I could easily see that I could keep social distance while depositing. Hope the bank train all staff to understand not all people have time to queue unnecessarily. We also pay for car park ( I am glad that I left the queue otherwise I had to pay for another hour).
