I visited my daughter in her student Appartment. Location is great The room o. K. But: such a horrible matrass. Oh, all the poor students, sleeping on that nightmare. And no light on the bed. But, beside that, it is very lovely and a good place to stay.
The room I had had no drainage from the shower due to being full of hair from a previous resident... Plus the rooms in general feel extremely cramped and dated
Beautiful place to be, surrounded by trees. The accommodation is spacious, well equipped, peaceful, well maintained and safe. Just loving this place!
Only spent 8 weeks in this prison whilst doing a project. Depressing grounds, but I guess you get what you pay for. There's a free bus that goes into the university areas / campus which is nice but that + the walkable distance to Lidl were the only highlights. Room mates were extremely weird, but that could be down to non-accom related factors (i.e. who in their right mind chooses to voluntarily stay at their uni accom during summer holidays). Rooms were tiny. Storage space minimal for clothes.

Hillhead is amazing. I love the environment, everyone is friendly and welcoming. There is always something to do and the buses come all the time.
My son is going to Aberdeen uni and we went to an open day, very impressed with the students guides and the accommodation block. Everyone seems so professional he cannot wait to go.
Great student accommodation. Fantastic welcome from the staff and volunteer student residents' assistants. Will organised spirit for students with plenty of facilities activists, a shop, launderettes, games and good catering and a bar!
Visited here as part of a uni offer day with my daughter. Rooms look clean and facilities are excellent. The onsite support from those operating the accommodation is very, very good. Supportive without being overly restrictive. Only downside is provision of cooking kit, meaning all students have to bring (and store) their own. There could be 7 sets of pots and pans in one flat! There's parking for cars and lockable bicycle storage too. I was very impressed.
