All round a good choice for a short break ... it's not the ritz but it great value and all you need .... ten minutes walk to city centre
Good location where 5 mins walking to the Aberdeen football stadium nearby, 5 mins to Morrison supermarket, and 15-20 mins walking to Union street. Other facilities like bus stations and restaurants are nearby at King street. A cleaned room, a shared washroom, a fridge and a microwave oven is available in the room. Good for both weekly rent and monthly rent. Friendly host who gave me a lot of helpful advice about local life. Thanks to them!
The guest house is very clean, warm and sweet. 10 mins walking distance to the sea. besides, the wifi here is fast.
This place is like a freezer it's warmer outside be prepared to wear jacket to bed if you don't mind that well this this is the place to go and holes in the floor and shower doesn't work absolutely disgrace
I have enjoyed being a guest at the Merkland for several years. It's quiet and its owner, Marilyn is the best landlady ever. Great value and highly recommended!
Very helpful and considerate. During a storm on one Hogmanay a friend visiting from Germany has the windows in her rental flat smashed. Despite being officially closed for the holidays they provided both a room and a meal. Well done 10/10
