Picked this lovely quiet hotel for a long weekend. It is dog friendly, and the owners made our dog feel at home. We picked this as my dog gets distressed by fireworks, and this place was lovely and quiet. Rooms are lovely and clean with tea and coffee supplied. Beautiful fluffy towels plus dressing gown and slippers supplied and toiletries. Fantastic choice of breakfasts. Hubby had full cooked breakfast and I had mini pancakes with peaches, cinnamon, maple syrup and whipped cream. Fruit juice, tea and coffee all readily available plus cereal and yoghurt. Definitely a hotel I will visit again. Thank you Marilyn and Nan for a wonderful weekend.

Your attention to every detail, both inside and outside, elevated Bogenraith House to the top of our list of places we've stayed. Dan really enjoyed the delicious Scottish breakfast, the perfect start to his day. You made sure our large suite was well supplied with coffee and other delightful amenities. We appreciated the king bed and cozy linens, and slept deeply each night. The gardens are extraordinary, and your diligence as groundskeeper is evident at every turn. Marilyn and her Mum are the perfect hosts. We had a lovely time here. The room was amazing we had everything we could have wanted including our own coffee machine fresh fruit and a bathroom that was absolutely superb. The breakfast was stunning. The peace and quiet is just lovely. We spent ages watching the local wildlife from our bedroom window seat.
Marilyn is a great host and a wonderful cook. Quiet and restful place to spend a weekend. She will never let you down!
The property, although feels remote, is only a short drive from local restaurants and castles. Our room was clean and spacious! Marilyn is an amazing host and she made us such a delicious breakfast to kick start our day! Thank you very much for making our stay ever so special!
A B&B with heart. Marilyn hosts this beautiful house in the quiet of the countryside with full verve. We enjoyed the New Year's Eve here and were also convinced by her singing talent. The rooms had been decorated for Christmas extensively and with joy and, as we learned, had also been renovated by her (in good quality). She cooks with love and a lot of imagination, nothing is missing. The beds could be a bit harder, but that is certainly a matter of taste. I can imagine that the garden invites you to read and linger in the summer with its tranquillity and far-reaching views.
Can't sing Marilyn's praises highly enough. For cryin' out loud, all revved up with no place to go until I found Bogenraith BnB in the ideal location. Loved every minute of our stay, and I don't say that to all the..... review sites! Ian and Hilary.
An amazing place to stay!! Beautiful house in the country with wonderful hosts, Marilyn and Nan. A friendly welcome with so many luxury touches it was a delight to relax and feel pampered. The breakfast and dinner were extremely well cooked and presented and the menus offered many choices. Our room had everything we could wish for, and more, and we had a very comfortable two night stay. Thank you Marilyn and Nan for a very special time in your beautiful home!
