If I could give no stars I would!!! Absolutely shocking experience from the off! I had a feeling as soon as he met myself with my Akita! Straight of the bat he starts mentioning my dog was malting when I had previously already mentioned this before booking! Then we went onto the van he takes out the hair dryer and completely frightens my dog before even washing just to show me how much hair would come off using his dryer! Even at this point when I left the van I had a feeling this was not going to go well and then some 35/40 mins later he appears at my front door with my dog saying "All done"! I was in a state of shock at this point and just paid £55 and he left. It was after this point when I actually got a good look at the awful groom he had done. Still wet (significantly), not brushed, still lots of malting hair visible everywhere! I called back to say how disappointed I was and he starts to tell me that he was never going to be completely dry and also that he will continue to malting all year round. I corrected him and stated this is not the first time I using a dog grooming service and that after 9 years I had never seen such as shockingly appalling job!! I managed to get half my money back after calling him and upon this being returned he stated that I was getting a "bargain" at the that price! Will never use again!! Waste of money!!

Matthew arrived 3 hrs early (originally arranged for 6pm, says might be a bit early and arrives at 3pm!) and repeatedly bangs on door (wife trying to put baby to sleep - thanks), our spaniel is groomed at least twice a year, but this has to be the worst finish she's had to date. Looks like a rushed job with razor lines and numerous missed chunks of hair. Looks like she's had a fight with a lawnmower rather than been professionally groomed. I could have done a better job myself and saved £45....no pricing structure either, she's a small spaniel but an English Sheepdog is £50?? I wanted him back to finish the job properly my wife refused to allow him back to address. Won't be using again - advise you not to consider either.

The guy was 45 minutes late and never apologised. Did a rough cut on my dog as my dog was moving around a bit half way through but then he never bathed my dog like he was ment too and still charged full price £40! He didn't seem that into dogs either which was worrying. Would not recommend.

Nice bloke, did a much better job than a large pet shop we went to in Newbury. We called Mathew and he fitted us in the same day where other groomers were unwilling. Scampi ( springer spaniel) is well chuffed.
