Since Radio Taxis removed their Hackney drivers, I’ve noticed a significant decline in service, The removal of loyalty points is also disappointing. I always relied on this service to book taxis for my elderly mum, but due to these changes, I won’t be using it anymore. I know many other customers are also unhappy.
I used Radio Taxis twice yesterday, very prompt and professional service. Easy to book, text confirmation straight away. Both drivers were very friendly and started and finished a good family night out - thank you.
Been using radio taxis at least 10 years,at least once a week for shopping etc. NEVER had a problem, never been stranded. Drivers always friendly and polite. Never felt unsafe. I’ve used Local Authority taxi provided for school runs With these guys too. They are all dbs checked . I’ve used Radio taxi for Airport drop offs - pick ups in early hours of the morning with 4 kids in tow. As a single mum I have to rely on this taxi service. I can honestly say they have always been 100% reliable. The App is great too!
I was very impressed with how efficient and friendly Radio Taxies are! I wasn't entirely certain the size of car i would need to get myself, my wheelchair, family and luggage to the airport - Kirsty in the office was exceptionally professional, helpful and kind. Everything ran smoothly both there and back. I would certainly recommend Radio Taxies and their staff - especially Kirsty!

Absolutely awful , even worse since pairing with West quay cars too. Doesn't matter what time of the day you call to book a cab they're always "too busy" particularly when you want a pick up that isn't city centre , if you call hours before your journey they can't guarantee that it will be there on time and advise to book 45min earlier than you need it. Some of the operators are rude as hell use uber people more reliable and cheaper anyway
Online booking easy to use. Taxi arrived at pick-up location in plenty of time & was clean & spacious enough for size of party. Driver was very friendly & efficient. Overall, Radio Taxis provided an excellent service & I will certainly use them again when in Southampton. I highly recommend them to others.
Booked a taxi the night before via their app to take me to the train station in the morning, with pick up booked for 6:45. The pick up was confirmed on the app. 6:45 come around, no taxi! Called Radio taxis to see how long it was going to be there to find that it hadn’t even been allocated to a driver! I couldn’t wait around on the hope that they would decide to turn up so I had to call a family member and beg them for a lift. Terrible service, no attempt to let me know they went going to make it and no apology when I called. Why confirm my pick up when you couldn’t make it??? Will not be using Radio taxis again.
Very happy with service. Initially couldn’t book over the phone for a late pickup on a Friday night but booked online and confirmed on the day and all worked well. It would have been helpful to have had a text alert to say the driver was on the way but as two girls on our own, on a cold night, we were happy the driver arrived on time with no issues. Thanks
Very impressed. Has not used this company before as just visiting Southampton. Nor has I used an automated taxi booking service. But it was smooth+ seamless. Received an immediate confirmation text with details of car being sent out to us. It duly arrived, was easy to spot as they had provide car make,colour+ reg number. Very helpful and polite driver. Will use again when next in area.
