   APR was highly recommended to me by my brother who had used them a few months before. I did wonder what his idea of good was however on this occasion he was right, but I won’t tell him that. It was the beginning of October 2022 interest rates were going crazy after Liz Truss and Kwasi Kwarteng had released their budget. After ringing APR I was squeezed into an already packed day full of customers fighting for the lowest interest rates. It was hectic times, article after article was talking about the rising rates. The market was scared, and panic ensued. I was passed to Collette who I can honestly say went the extra mile on every occasion to keep the communication lines open during this stressful time. Whether that was answering the phone whilst walking her dogs in the morning prior to getting into work. Working with me in the late evening to get the relevant information that the bank required, or even keeping me informed during the weekend when I would imagine other brokers would easily have turned the phone off. I felt fully supported and always backed no matter what information the bank asked for. A position I will now always opt for rather than securing a mortgage on my own. Collette explained to me what my options were, and which mortgage was best. I felt quite confident that I was being taken in the right direction. Especially when the 6 other brokers (all recommended by Martin Lewis) finally caught up and were suggesting the same deal. I’ve got to admit I did smile when I politely told them someone had already got there first and I’ll be keeping my business with them. What I didn’t say was, they should have been quicker and given great customer service rather than treating me like a call centre number. My advice. Just ring APR for, efficiency, that personal touch and full backing. So save yourself, time, stress and worry and if you’re lucky, you’ll get Collette, but in essence I believe you won’t be disappointed with whoever you get from this company!!! Rich
