   We spent the weekend in Kirkwall. Naturally, we had to visit the Scapa distillery. I must admit that I had never tried Scapa whisky before. I was not disappointed! The tour and tasting experience were fantastic. The tasting room is the most beautiful I have ever seen. I don't think it could be bettered. Unfortunately, we couldn't take a bottle with us as we were only flying with hand luggage. Thank you very much for the insight and the excellent whisky.

   The Orcadian visit was a beautiful experience.The welcome from the team of three gentlemen was very pleasant. We did the whole tour with Jim. A great guy from the Orkneys! The explanations were so interesting that time flew by and we didn't look at our watches once. Our 19-year-old daughter followed us around the whole tour. Our 16-year-old daughter joined us later at the magnificent location of The Noust. With its breathtaking view and warm atmosphere, we wanted to stay there forever. Jim is attentive and shared his knowledge of the Orkneys with us. The entire tour was very interesting. We started with the barrel warehouse, the mill, and the distillery. The whiskey tasting was very well organized. The aromas and flavors were both exceptionally delicate and powerful. For newcomers, men, women, and lovers of excellent unpeated whiskeys, this is the place to discover! Thank you, Jim! See ya in 2 years !!

   Great tour, took the hour and fifteen minutes - guide was knowledgeable and friendly! End of tour sampling was 10, 11 and 12 year old with small bottles so drivers can take samples away. Would definitely recommend.

   Did The Scapa Experience tour. Well worth money, William our tour guide was knowledgeable, quick with a joke and happy to answer questions. Whisky tasting was great, got to taste a wide variety of Skapa whiskies, all of which were fantastic. Distillery is in a beautiful location, would recommend walking round to the Scapa beach to get a picturesque view of the distillery. Would definitely visit again!

   I loved my visit here. It was extraordinary! Jim is an amazing and funny guide. Like some other reviews have said you do not get to see the stills and every detail of the whisky making process (so if you have not seen that yet make sure you visit another distillery before this one). This tour focuses on the story of the distillery and the whisky (which is great as it can get a bit repetitive to listen to the whisky making process again and again). Unlike other tours i have been on, you actually get to taste really special stuff. We even got to sample a dram right out of the cask (it was amazing and you need to be there to taste it)! Totally recommend.

   My favorite whiskey and I finally had a chance to visit the distillery. They have quite a lot of different whisky of different ages. I can highly recommend the 22 year old. We were very warm welcomed and got to sample some of there whisky and to talk shop. I had a good time and hope they will start selling all their whisky internationally. And some additional merchandise like Scapa jackets *fingers crossed*

   A lovely afternoon, brilliant whisky and very interesting! But the real star of the show was our tour guide Maria! She has such an enthusiasm for the brand and a wealth of knowledge! She is a huge asset to the distillery and hope to see her expand the availability to have tastings else where as its such an amazing range of whisky that should be shared with the world!

   Guided tours are available and very worthwhile. The one I went on included a tasting. Small but impressive merchandise for sale as well as, of course, Scapa whiskey. Beautiful views over Scapa Flow.
