I cannot thank Stepping Stones Nursery enough for my son's start to nursery. I was really nervous about being separated from him but from the app updates and photo's I receive throughout the day, he is clearly experiencing a high level of care and really enjoying himself. Its been a much easier transition than I had imagined.
My daughter has been going to Stepping Stones for a few months now and she is loving it. The transition has been easy and not like what people told me to expect. She hasn’t once cried when I’ve dropped her off, in fact she reaches for the door! I love how regularly the team update the app, so I can see exactly how her day is going. I look forward to picking her up as I get to see her enjoying herself and the team are always so welcoming and happy to tell me about her day. You can tell how much they love and care for the children by the activities they design, the food they serve and the way they speak to & about them! My daughter has clearly built some lovely bonds with the ladies in her room and I can tell she is very happy and at ease with them. It is clear that all staff are professional, following policies well and they communicate exceptionally. I have no complaints or concerns and I look forward to seeing how much more she develops as time goes on!
I have both my young children going to stepping stones and the people here are just wonderful. In the 2ish years I have been using Stepping Stones I am always treated so well with all the staff happy to chat and talk about my children’s day. I am able to get regular updates through out the day (including nappy changes and what they’ve had to eat!) using their app. I also get weekly and monthly updates (as well as parents evenings) about how my children are doing. They always seem to be trying new things to help our kids grow and I like the fact they even get the kids baking too. It really is a great place for your little ones to grow up and I cannot recommend it enough
Stepping Stones is a warm, welcoming environment that feels just like home. The staff are exceptional—so caring, patient, and genuinely dedicated. They provide the best home cooked food with the menu changing often. The babies get to spend time playing in the garden and take part in a range of creative painting activities. My son loves his days there and is actually excited when he see’s his nursery bag in the morning. It’s the perfect setting for young children to feel safe, happy, and encouraged to explore their creativity. We feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place for him!
This nursery stood out by a mile compared to all the other nurseries in Totton we visited as parents and that I have been to as a Year R teacher. The staff are incredible. So intuitive, caring and passionate. When my first child started at 10 months in the baby room they were so amazing and he settled so quickly. The bonds his key worker and all the staff built with him have lasted to this day, and he loves to check in with them when collecting his younger sister after achool. When he moved downstairs into the pre-school room, again he settled so well as they do transitions fantastically! Through the excellent learning opportunities they provide and the learning they facilitate, my son confidently, successfully and happily transitioned to school. Our daughter currently attends the pre-school room and we have had the same exceptional experience! Any issues have been dealt with appropriately and promptly, they always ask parent for feedback and are constantly improving their practice and setting. We are so grateful to the amazing staff for enriching our children's lives. I couldn't recommend Stepping Stones more!
Our little boy started at Stepping Stones when he was 9 months old and has loved it from the start. The staff are so lovely and provide a great range of activities including lots of sensory play. We feel that staff really listen and go above and beyond for the kids in their care. We looked at lots of different nursery’s in the area and Stepping Stones really stood out to us as being welcoming with a family feel which is all down to the amazing staff who work there. We can’t recommend enough.
Stepping Stones is a lovely homely setting where children can flourish. Both of my children have grown massively in confidence there and that is down to the caring, supportive staff. I chose Stepping Stones for both of my children to go to because I love how it supports children's curiosity and imagination❤️
Sending my daughter to Stepping Stones was an easy decision! The staff are fantastic, professional, friendly and approachable! My toddler's life skills have come on incredibly since being with this nursery! She's not the easiest child in the world, but she is given all the love and confidence building, she could want whilst in their care!
Both our boys have been through stepping stones with our youngest still there and it was the easiest and best decision we have ever made regarding their childcare needs. The nursery has such a lovely homely feel where you are instantly made to feel part of a family which we love. All the staff are amazing, friendly and welcoming. Both boys have developed so much through attending stepping stones and we particularly love the curiosity approach which our boys have really taken too. We fully recommend this nursery.
