    I normally don’t leave reviews, but I think this feedback is important for other customers. I recently needed an urgent repeat medication. My GP informed me that the prescription had already been collected by the pharmacy driver, so I called the pharmacy to check if it was ready. I was told over the phone that it wasn’t there yet and that nothing could be done, and I should “come later,” even though I explained that I work far away and was running out of essential medication. There was no attempt to check alternative solutions or offer clear guidance, and the communication felt dismissive rather than supportive. When I went in person later, the interaction became even more stressful, with raised voices from a staff member and no acknowledgment of the situation or accountability. I only wanted help understanding the process and how to avoid this happening again. A simple, calm explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I left feeling unheard and upset, despite trying to remain polite and constructive. I hope the team can improve communication and patient support, especially for situations involving essential medication.

    I’ve always found the staff to be most helpful and knowledgeable. If they haven’t had one of my medications in stock it’s normally there the very next day. The staff have gone above and beyond to fix issues caused by the doctors, and have picked up when the surgery has sent antibiotics I’m allergic to! All in all a wee gem of a pharmacy with polite, friendly, and professional staff.
