   I love Boots but this store is seriously understaffed even when not busy. Ive stood at the tills multiple times and the server has literally walked away to do something else rather than serve me. Staff always seem stressed, overworked and this appears as rudeness which I know it's not. I understand what it's like working in retail, this is a higher management issue.

   Visited today with my daughter to purchase some makeup. I use the same things every time but got chatting to Richard. What an absolute credit he is to your shop, infact I’d go as far to say he made my day. He spent a lot of time going through different things and explaining lots of products to my daughter. He is fantastic! Thank you Richard!

   Uneducated staff who just try to sell you anything. Went in trying to buy some Hermés perfume and it was obvious that the shop assistant had no idea what I was talking about. She didn't even ask which specific perfume I was after. Despite that she then proceeded to try and sell me some other perfumes which were completely different to what I wanted. Not a great experience.

   Made an hour round trip to buy Emla to numb my skin for a tattoo tomorrow morning (Sunday) only to be told by a blonde haired girl that it wasn’t licensed to be used as a numbing agent for tattoo’s and refused to sell me it! I told her I’d always bought it at boots, at least ten times and never had a problem but she was adamant that it wasn’t licensed and I couldn’t have it. On my way home I looked on Boots and Emla’s website and both listed it as a suitable numbing cream for tattoos! So either it is licensed or both are breaking the law. I phoned the shop and got the same girl who refused to believe my information and grudgingly put me onto the pharmacist who looked up the information and apologised to me. For a pharmacy to have such poor knowledge of their products and having someone so completely incompetent and undertrained serving is dangerous to the public. I thought that the whole point of things being in the pharmacy section was that someone who knows what they’re talking about makes sure you use a product correctly! Now I have no chance to get any Emla from another retailer before my tattoo tomorrow. Awful.

   I wanted to buy a kit face cream kit and looked that it is in stock online before going to the shop to buy it so that I do not waste my time. Once I came to Boots I asked where I can find it in the shop and the assistant told me that all are sold out. I asked why it says in stock online but they did not care about it just said it is out of stock. Thanks for my wasted time. Not happy with service at all.
