Booked here for my 30th birthday. Showed up 10 minutes late then was asked for payment even though I payed months ago, I was told the original payment never went through so I asked why they didn’t inform me of this and the excuse was “maybe you didn’t pay because you wanted to cancel”. Only managed to get 3 songs on as the mics kept cutting out, could never find any songs as the system is so bad. When we asked for help they didn’t seem interested! Wouldn’t recommend

I've been here many times in the past decade, but this place hasn't moved with the times. The idea is great and booth karaoke is the way to go. However, the software (copyright 2005!) and song selection are ancient and almost unmanageable, you lose half your time trying to look for songs whereas in 2025 even the most rudimentary karaoke app is a dream compared to this. There is no pitch change. The karaoke setup in the bar area (manned by a DJ) is more up-to-date, but really you go here for the booths, and those are terribly outdated and somehow have fewer songs than before.

Was really looking forward to going here after being at other karaoke bars in Edinburgh but the experience was very different. Had a package booked that gave us a bottle of Prosecco, entry to club t with another bottle of Prosecco. Entered Sing City and got shown room and a quick show of how to use the system to two of our party. Had to put at least 5 songs up before it would start, system froze, random songs appeared, could only put first letter of song/artist into the database to find what wanted to sing and it wasn’t even in alphabetical order, mics were dropping out, called for assistance and the young guy didn’t know what to do so called someone else who was very rude and told us there was a bug in the system. None of this is the customers issue. Spent half the time fighting with the system. Guy eventually walked away from us. Went to bar to ask what we do for second part of package and was told to speak to someone at club t. Went there and the girl behind the cash desk was security and told us to go to the first bar. Young girl behind bar told us no packages booked, we showed email with confirmation. She was texting the manager and then argued with us that the package was just bottle at sing city. After 10minutes of the girl eye rolling at me and appearing to not try and resolve I went back down the stairs and said manager was standing at front door and I got told ‘system issue’. Sing City knew we were there and had a package but the sister company never. Poorly managed, no apology from anyone we had interaction from.

This is a cute little karaoke place with a pleasant environment and a fun theme idea. The karaoke machine interfaces aren't the best, the songs aren't very current and the selection isn't great, but when you do find something you'd like to sing, it's a great time. The controls are quite difficult but you get the hang of it after some time. The drinks are a bit expensive but they're good. The best feature is the staff. Apologies if I've misspelled, but Jehan, Ian, and Nic (I think?) were absolutely amazing. Jehan was so kind and gracious, Ian and Nic were hilarious and so chill. I took my friend here for her birthday and we'd definitely come back!

Had been promised my nhs discount of an extra hour but it was never added. Machines difficult to use and temperamental. It is cheap though and a decent enough night out if you're with a good group

Came here on a birthday night out, was a fantastic night! So many music options and the staff were super helpful :)

Well this is a hidden gem. Fun evening but could have been improved with waiter service for drinks instead of people having to leave their 'booth' to fetch drinks. Decor needs a bit of jazzing up too but all in all a great way to spend an evening for a work or family or friends night out

I didn't sing here, I was in Vogue and Tropicana and asked the manager what it was like. And they was good enough to show me around, I was in Aberdeen alone so solo karioke isn't good. Looked fine and everyone I saw look like they was belting out the cheese and having a ball.

Won a free hour my sharing a post which i couldn't believe. So me and my friends weren't expecting much for it being free but what night we had! it was so much fun. We went for our free hour about nine which flow by. We sang all the best cheesy songs for an hour solid and then went in to the main lounge before it was time to go to Club Tropicana and vogue next go. We were all on a high all night. What a night to remember !

So-so place. I'm guessing its rates are fairly high hence the rather costly hourly charge (£35 an hour). Karaoke rooms over in Asia are a fraction of this. Also, the system that's used for highlighting the lyrics as you sing along could definitely be improved; it was difficult to see what word was highlighted. I've been to scores of them all over Asia so I have a rough idea what makes a good one. That being said, it's great to see one over here. The service was good and the drinks were cold. Let's hope they take off as it's normally a great night .
