If they don't have the prescription in stock they blame the doctors. and the doctors tell me it's their responsibility to find an alternative poorly trained or don't care
I went for my flu jab on Friday 18.10.24. what a terrible experience. Firstly my skin was cleaned before the injection, then it was given way too high up my arm. The pharmacist hurt me and made me bleed, this has never happened before. I'm then offered a free BP test, so I go ahead. BP taken in my right arm, which it should only be done in an emergency, my arm was free hanging and not resting as it should be and then my BP was high, which it would be! I kept being asked the same question each time she took it. Finally I was accused of not paying when she had a receipt in her hand. Now I've got an infection in my arm and thankfully my BP is back to normal. Hasten to add I won't be going back there!
Thank you to the wonderful lady, who served me on Thursday. She was so helpful and rang me back to say…she had successfully got my ADHD medication. I cannot thank her enough, it’s been a tough month. Thank you again. LL
Went to Tesco Pharmacy today to get my husbands prescription. They haven't got his night time insulin in stock. It's been out of stock for nearly 2 months now. The Pharmacist said he had his day time insulin and that was fine!!! As I explained, his day time insulin is fast acting and night time is slow acting. They are not the same, at all!!! When a Pharmacist doesn't know the difference between fast acting insulin and slow acting insulin, there is a serious problem. I've changed my husband's nominated pharmacy. Do not recommend, at all.
Was served promptly, and found that the staff were very helpful left building with exactly what I required even tho believing it was something entirely different and spelled quite technical, thank-u
Helpful, friendly and always ready to give good advice and direction. Sometimes appear short staffed but isn't everywhere at the moment...
I have been to this pharmacy for years now, and over the past 18 months have found it to be getting worse. Saying that my prescription has not arrived from the GP, after ring the GP and getting a code from them, they eventually found my prescription!! Surprise surprise. Then went to collect prescription again, and found out they have closed at 5pm instead of 9pm. So went again in the morning to find they have closed all together with a note on the window, saying ring the bell to collect your prescription and to go to another pharmacy. Over the months this pharmacy has been going down so now I have now changed!!
I am with this pharmacy for two years. A lot depends on who is serving you. But in general I am not happy with this pharmacy at all. Almost always there is a long queue, you never know when they are going to close the pharmacy for their break, most of workers are taking their time and not very helpful, quite a few times I ordered through the phone and found out already in the pharmacy after spending in the queue for 20 minutes or even longer that my order wasn't place at all, or some of the medications were missing. It took me nearly all two years before finally one of the ladies from the pharmacy sorted out and they began to send me a message that my order is ready for collection to my mobile phone, not the house one. And I kept asking about that nearly every time,so over 20 times in 2 years period. Thinking about changing the pharmacy as I really got fed up with them.
My partner is type 1 diabetic & he ran out of lift tablets which help him when his sugars go low.He went to the pharmacy and asked for 3 tubs of lift tablets and the woman started moaning at him as she didn't like how many he was having.Everytime his sugars go low he has to take 5 of the lift tablets to help his sugars get back up again! The woman started to moan about how it wasn't right and asking if his diabetes nurse knows about this when they were the people who recommended him to have them.My partner has only been diabetic for 9 months and this has really upset him! You really should think about what you say before you say it!
