The pharmacy is shockingly bad. Never thought I'd write a bad word about Boots, they're a UK institution. The Henley branch is an embarrassment to their brand and dealing with them is all the more unpleasant when compared to most other retail outlets in Henley. They're rude, incompetent, disorganised and go out of their way to be unhelpful. Expect a long wait and miserable staff, irrespective of what healthcare help or advice you might need. Ridiculous. Over the past two years I've lost my confidence in Boots completely. Won't be returning and going to make sure my prescriptions don't go through here any more.Won't put up with it any more.

Not busy at all, lack of staff and waiting for 20 mins trying to purchase some cocodamol. No proper direction for over the counter purchases, or queueing for prescriptions. People jumping ahead and then ignored when waiting in line. "Who's next" yelled at with no eye contact and seemed to find it an issue when she had to come to me, as that was where the tablets were. Asked male member of staff who was refilling shelves and was told "you'll have to wait" even though signs up everywhere saying happy to help !! Honestly the worst Boots I have ever been to. Rude, slow staff with no customer service whatsoever, appalling!!

really disappointed in the pharmacist (sonya i think is her name). All the staff in the store have always been lovely but she has treated my and my friends horrible. Tried to refuse me plan B bc of my age at the time (I was 17) and also blamed my friend for needing it and tried to refuse it saying she should take better care with her birth control (she’d taken a break for her own reasons and was 18) and charged us both eventhough we’re entitled to it for free. I thought maybe she just had an issue with plan b (not an excuse considering her opinion means nothing when accessing reproductive healthcare your entitled to) but I also have spoken to her again now after being told to go to boots pharmacy by 111 since I didn’t have a gp surgery since I’m a student in the area. She didn’t even look at what I’d been sent for just rolled her eyes and said get to MIU which i was quickly told by the staff at the hospital they couldn’t do anything and it’s ridiculous i was sent since it wasn’t about a break, sprain or cut. Such a shame since every other staff member in there are so lovely and helpful

What a dump of a shop this is. Never any staff. Little stock on the shelves. Grumpy team. Dirty, tired store . Irregular opening times & not as shown on the door. No self service. If Boots want to operate in Henley then operate professionally or leave and release the unit for a more committed brand to come here. We have two pharmacies in Henley and both are diabolical. The Boots one is so short of staff that they can have a week to get a prescription ready & they never are. The poor pharmacist tries, but they simply are not resourced for this town.

+ Customer service - great 5/5 + The store - it needs a bit of care, proper cleaning and organisation, make it look a bit modern 1/5, hence my overall score of 3/5 + Products - decent for the size of the store. If I don't find something, I'll go into Waitrose, other pharmacies in the area, or order online from John Lewis 4/5 + Cosmetic stock - nearly non existent 1/5 + Price - good 5/5 + Self service - non existent 0/5

My friend went to get emergency contraception and was spoken to very rudely by the pharmacist who did her assessment. She felt very judged and was made to feel significantly insecure, was asked very personal questions that were not necessary- “Will this be a regular occurrence?” In a very condescending tone. The guy she spoke to at the beginning was lovely and reassuring however and she has no complaints about him.

Good stock of personal and health products. Huge welcome as I entered the store. Efficient and friendly service as I paid. An example of how shopping should be. Keep up the good work.

A well laid out store which is well run. It's not the biggest store but has all the everyday essentials you need. Staff were friendly and checkout was quick.

I am very concerned about what’s going on at this Boots in Henley. Their cosmetics stock is basically non-existent. Now that Superdrug has closed, surely this must be an opportunity to step up and fill the gap?? Young people especially, have nowhere to go except Reading/Marlow now. All stock across the shop is threadbare and I’ll be lucky to find the right menopausal support. I’m considering ordering online from Amazon just to be sure I’ll get my monthly supply. Also I had to wait 2 weeks for my online repeat prescription!
