   I cannot recommend Alun highly enough! I had no driving experience prior to beginning lessons and Aluns’ teachings helped me gain complete confidence on the road. There was always a clear plan for every lesson of what we would be working on so I always felt aware of how much progress I was making towards sitting my test. I felt completely at ease during every lesson as Alun was patient and supportive which allowed me to learn so much easier! Going into my test I felt incredibly well-prepared, Alun worked around my availability and made time to see me more frequently in the weeks leading up to my test which really built my confidence. I then passed my driving test first time which I owe all to Alun.

   I had a great experience learning to drive with Alun and have passed first time, he is a very patient and friendly instructor. My lessons were always well fitted in around work/uni. I really looked forward to my lessons every week, as it was always a pleasure never a chore! having a chat and a laugh every time. Alun helped me gain confidence where it was lacking and set out a clear brief for every lesson. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to learn.

   Alun is an amazing instructor who has taught me well. I was a very nervous driver but he was always patient and calm and helped me to feel confident enough to pass both my theory and practical tests first time! If I would make a mistake he explained carefully afterwards where I had gone wrong which helped me really learn from them and enable me to improve from them. Would highly recommend!

   Due to moving cities multiple times I had a turbulent time with driving lessons, but when I moved to Aberdeen a close friend reccommended Alun to me. Alun is an absolutely brilliant instructor - he was patient and worked hard to explain things to me in a way that I would understand which I really appreciated. He used a tablet to virtually demonstrate the maneouvres first before trying them out with me, which I found immensely helpful, and he also kept track of progress with structured notes taken at the of each lesson and revisited at the beginning of each lesson. It really helped to have my whole driving journey broken down into goals like this that made me fear driving a little less. I ended up passing my driving test first time with only 5 minors - not bad! I passed back in March, and since then I have had to use a car for my job and have been driving around in Glasgow (I moved cities again!) and I actually feel confident on the roads, even doing long drives by myself which when I was a learner felt impossible to do. I was really close to giving up driving up altogether but Alun's gentle encouragement really made me believe that I could do it - annd I guess he was right!
