   We needed our wedding rings and an engagement ring repairing after they were damaged in an accident. We showed them to Emma, and she reassured us that they could be repaired to a good standard. The whole process was very personalised which is what you`d expect from an established family run business.

   The issue with Richard Stone Jewellers probably isn't with quality or price or stock. It's the location. The part of green lane it's on just looks really really run down and rough. It's a place where usually you'd find second hand shops and pay day loan shops interspersed with laundrettes and booze shops. Not a place for high class jewellery outlets. So it seems despite its qualities - it may not be able to shake off the stigma of its location. By the way.... Those qualities........ Expertise of the jewelery game. The guy's a true expert. Good stock (No cheap and nasty pieces), makes most of environment and fair prices.

   Very professional and knowledgeable. We discussed jewellery alterations and they gave good advice. They have a selection of tasteful pendants and earrings and we did buy. It is nice to look at things without feeling obliged to purchase and we found the experience enjoyable.
