Where do I start ... The bouncers on the door are horrible, the stairs don't allow disabled access, the woman at the coat room has a horrible attitude, the price advertised for over 30s changes every other week, get to the bar and everything is over priced, watered down mixers, no ice, plastic cups, get to the dancefloor and it's sticky and slippy (how is that even possible), sit down with tiny tables that drinks get knocked off every 10 mins, toilets are actually falling apart (like actually falling apart the toilets are actually shattered), no locks, fights every weekend, just an awful experience all together. Been rebranded that many times because of obvious failure but refuse to actually fix issues... Don't go it's not worth it.

There are no canned or bottled soft drinks, just from a tap that are so watered down, there tasteless, flat and served in plastic glasses. Ladies toilet stalls have no locks on them and the DJ was pants. Staircase & steps everywhere means no disabled people could attend. It would only take a small effort to improve. Shame it could be good.

I visited this club with some friends, and immediately the workers at the cloakroom refused to take our coats even though they were advertising about the cloakroom being available earlier in the day. The workers behind the bar were very nice and polite, however after about an hour at the club, the security guard tried to walk my friend out of the club for being 'too drunk', despite only having two drinks at the club and being the most sober out of our group and the majority of the club. When we questioned why she was being kicked out, he claimed by friend was acting 'spaced out' at the bar. The managers came out and explained to them that she was not drunk but she has a diagnosed GAD and a different anxiety disorder, which should not disallow her from being at clubs and she was just slightly overwhelmed for a second but she had collected herself at this point. The managers then said she was cut off at the bar half an hour before she was kicked out despite being able to buy a drink from both bars so that was clearly false.

I hadn’t even drank that much when going here, but the woman on the wristband counter, assuming one of the owners, has to be one of the rudest people I’ve ever spoken to. Bouncers letting people in that hadn’t paid, then being yelled at for bringing it to the managements attention. Don’t be in a business dealing with drunk people, when you haven’t got the patience to deal with drunk people.

EDIT: This review was made for Raphs, the Club has since re-branded so this review is out of date. The club does have a reputation of horrible bouncers (something i have never experienced myself). It does have a lot of people drinking and dancing and the music is spot on. They will charge £1 - £3 per shot the later on in the night you get. I have personally have has several good nights in there until close at about 4. Not the best place in Congleton but if someone asked me to go in then i would not refuse.
